We wanted to come here to get pics. Added bonus lighthouse was open. Second time up in lighthouse and loved it again. The volunteers are very knowledgeable about the history and love the views from the top. Loved walking around fort Constitution after we visited...More

The location is spectacular. Cannot beat the views! But could anyone take a rake to the area and tidy it up? Get rid of the various dirt piles (spread the dirt to level some of the area out for better walking), take down the yellow...More

The remains of the fort are at a part of the Coast Guard base. There isn’t much to see but it has a fabulous view. I’d advise that you check the hours of the lighthouse so you can add that to this experience. It was...More

Can only visit on summer Sunday afternoons as fort is within US Coast Guard base and they don't seem very friendly. Read up on history before visit as there is almost nothing on site to describe features. Weirdest thing is that visitors must walk on...More

This was a cool fort to walk around in and absolutely worth it to see the lighthouse (another review). I can't believe people rated it so poorly. A lot of these old places don't have much detail of the place, but some of the plaques...More

Found by mistake! Just taking a road trip with my daughter and wanted to see something in New Hampshire. We both love history so this was great. The view is beautiful and the lighthouse is there also.

We didn't even know this was there! Interesting - could use more signage and explanation. No tour guides - completely do on our own.

We went with friends to see this Historic Site on a warm summer day. You can just imagine what it might have been like back in the Revolutionary War and used up through World War II. We were able to go into the lighthouse too....More

This is an interesting historical spot, but it is not well maintained and is on an active military installation. There is no parking to speak of, and when you enter you have to stay on a painted line to walk to the facility. We had...More

There isn't much here except the story of the first conflict, and victory, for US patriots. Even before Lexington and Concord. The views are wonderful. Stop and appreciate our history.
