Greeley Park is an amazing park in an easy to get to location. I have lived in Nashua all my life and have many wonderful memories there. My mom would bring my sisters and I there to play at the playground area, which is of moderate size, or we would go to the kiddie pool and swim for free. Right next to the pool there are public bathrooms which are pretty well upkept, and in a really cool stone building. There are also picnic tables and grills for picnics or bbq's and lots of grassy space to play sports or just let kids around in. Lots of parking available off street and on the street. Across the street there is a stage for free events which are held quite often. But my favorite part of Greeley is the huge ancient Weeping Willow to the right of the main entrance to the park. It is so big and old that there are little worn foot paths that weave between the hanging branches and lead you into the cavelike area that the branches of the tree create. All in all its a great park and I highly suggest it to anyone who lives in nashua or is just visting!!!

Anything goes at Greeley. Frisbees, play horseshoes, tennis , use the pool, walk, run, just play or take a nap in the middle of the park. Great meeting place for anyone.

Greeley Park is an outdoor mecca for those who want to come at peace with nature or enjoy a simple old time picnic with a blanket spread out on the grass with sandwiches or simply just lying on the grass and communicate with nature. Then too you have one of the most unique stone building which houses restrooms. There is a small play area for youngsters to swing and just be a kid. At the north side of the park there are charcoal grills available with wooden picnic tables available for cookouts and a cannon from World War I that children can sit in and imagine they are firing shells to the Merrimack River way across to the east side of the park. Then too there are trails to walk and places to sit and a stage where bands play during summer nights and the city presents several festical such as the Fairytale Festival, Beyond that there are horshoe pits, tennis courts, softball fields and further down a boat ramp so you can lauch your boat into the Mighty Merrimack River and travel to Lowell, Mass., before you meet a dam.You can also study some history bu reading a plaque on a huge boulder which notes Nashua's first burial spot. You name it and it can be done at Greeley Park on both sides of Concord Street. And there is a fountain and a wading pool.

Really nice park with trails, picnic areas complete with grills, a stage and athletic fields. On any given day during warmer weather you can find families, business people, seniors and students eating, walking and using the facilities. The stage presents concerts, shakespeare in the park, celebrations, and it's the starting point for many fundraising walk. There are usually ice cream and hot dog vendors here throughout the summer but it's also not far from downtown Nashua so a perfect spot to pick up a picnic lunch on the spur of the moment to enjoy an unexpected afternoon off! Snowshoeing opportunities throughout the winter too!

I haven't lived in Nashua for over 20 years but this was one of the nicest green spaces in town. I loved when they showed movies on the screen in the summers.

Been there today with my wife and our 15 months old kid. I have moved to Nashua recently and could not find nice and safe places for an outing for my kid. One of our friend suggested the park and I must admit its really the best place for an outing with kids of any age group.
The park is well maintained. The best part for us was, we could sit and watch our kid running on the fields and we knew its safe for him. He enjoyed a lot playing in the fields.
Would certainly recommend this place to every parent for an outing/picnic with their kids.

Greeley Park dominates Nashua's historic North End. It has playgrounds, ball fields, tennis courts, victory gardens, hiking paths in the woods and even a boat ramp providing access to the beautiful Merrimack River.

Greeley Park was a nice place to chill out under a tree on a very hot day reading. I didn't see much of the more decorated side of the park as I really just went there to read but the building used as restrooms was very impressive and historic looking. I shall return when next in Nashua.
