I live locally and want vacationers to know that the Cascade Spa is by far the most luxurious spa in the area. Their attention to detail and their hospitality is top notch!! The view when you’re getting your hair and nails done looks right out to the lake. It’s my go to place when I need pampering!!

My daughter and I indulged ourselves with the "girls day in" package and it was amazing. The spa is impeccably clean and they have anything you could need at a spa. The give you long robes and sandals while you go from service to service. There is nothing you would need that isn't provided. The staff were professional and courteous. We enjoyed everything we had scheduled. The massage was relaxing and the mani/pedi were done beautifully.

I will definitely be going back.

The facilities here are great. Wonderful meditation room, infused waters and fruit, cute locker room, option to use indoor/outdoor pool with hot tub pre or post massage. The steam room is a little dated and crusty. I would def. invest in new tiles if I was the Common Man chain. The massages themselves ( I have had 4 or 5) are a notch above mediocre but this is coming from someone who appreciated a pressure filled deep tissue..... This is a great place for a full on spa day and get your moneys worth. Go get a massage, swim in the pool, swim in the lake, eat dinner or lunch at the many food spots in the building etc...

My daughter was married this past October. My sister and I had makeup and eyelashes done. My sister's eyelashes came off before the wedding started (about two hours after application). Makeup was too heavy. I would not recommend having makeup and lashes done there. A blonde woman who worked at the spa front desk kept saying how beautiful we looked but it was borderline patronizing. I little of this woman went a long way. The makeup people were nice but lacked knowledge.

The services here are average but the most appalling thing is the over-the-top focus on selling products. These people put used car salesmen to shame. I will never go to this spa again. There are so many better places. DO NOT book your spa weekend or appointments here. Unless you like high pressure sales tactics, of course.

This spa is average. I went for a special birthday pedicure. I called and reserved the full, pricey treatment. I double checked the price when I called to ensure the website wasnt outdated. I received an average pedicure, nothing really special. The tech only applied one layer of polish even though it was a light color. When I went to check out I was automatically charged a 18% gratuity. I told her I only wanted 15% since it was nothing special and my polish wasnt great. She said it was policy. This is not described on website or when you call so BEWARE!

The spa is very small and does not have much to offer. A small locker room with a steam room and a small relaxation room. The massage I had was nice, but I was expecting a more pampering experience.

I'm extremely spoiled that this was the first spa I ever went to about 15 years ago. I've continued to go several times a year and have ventured out to other spas and none of them have ever lived up to Cascade spa...even in Singapore! This place it the epitome of a spa. Luxurious, tranquil, and relaxing. Over the years the customer service staff have been hit or miss but their massage therapists and Aestheticians are pros. A couple of my favorites are Marie and Reva. I've tried lots of their massages and special treatments and continue to return to Tranquil Waters which is aptly named and a true favorite. Each massage is tailored to your specific needs and I've never walked out less than fully satisfied. I would take full advantage of your visit and do the pool, hot tub, steam shower and tea!

Why would a lakeside location with water, sky, and big trees observable( from behind the heavily curtained windows) bring a spa guest into a gloomy (reminds me of Paris Hotel in LV) environment ? Beats me. Maybe because they sell, sell, sell weddings.? And groups who are on the company tab? Ok, so the decor-art deco? Synchronicity, I think, means that all components align to produce a mood. Wrong here. Jazz era decor ( think ROARING TWENTIES) and yoga studio soundtrack? Hmmm.Sure, showers are better.A return (many visits-family gift cards ) guest, I found the reception (they stand behind podiums -really ? Is this the same place with birch trees in guest rooms ?) staff their customary warm and friendly selves. Now, about the services: good massage and no pressure for an add-on unlike my facial , THE MOST EXPENSIVE on the menu and I stupidly allowed waxing of my brows and chin -add $30 ! The customer comments cards were absent .I'm guessing someone doesn't want or care to hear. I'll use whatever $$ is left on a massage next time and suggest another gift next year.

Couples
My husband and I had a couples massage here to celebrate our first wedding anniversary. It was just a straightforward Swedish massage, 50 minutes. We both found it enjoyable, but strangely we both noticed the lack of attention to our hands/fingers. The massage was still really nice, but I've never noticed how the small finishing effects really do add something extra to a massage until I didn't get them.

The spa itself is small and cozy, but nothing fantastic. It has a serene environment, but the waiting room is a little too close for comfort to really relax. It had lemon water, juices, and trailmix-type snacks though, which was really nice. I usually only see lemon water! The women's changing room had all the basic amenities you'd expect from a high quality spa, but the steam room smelled AWFUL. They really need to figure out how to pipe some incense or essential oils in there... or something. It just smelled old and musty and I couldn't even sit in there. The shower stalls are small basic Bath-Fitter type standing showers, although I did like the shampoos and soaps they had in there. There is also only a single toilet stall.

I'd say Cascade Spa is a great place to relax, but it's not exactly on the luxurious high-end level if that's what you are looking for. The massage was enjoyable and the staff was really very wonderful to us, but the facility itself could probably use an upgrade.
