I have ancestors from Scotland who came to work in the Amoskeag Mills in Manchester so I feel I have a connection to the history of the millyard.

A nice little museum that is worth the hour or two it takes to visit. The new leadership is working to change outdated presentations and upgrade the overall experience. This museum attracts families and museum enthusiasts and is seldom crowded.

Small nicely presented museum. Nice location in the old mill buildings you learn about. Interesting exhibit about how water was used to run the mill.

This was our first visit to the Museum. There were many interesting exhibits and information related to Manchester and the area, developing why Manchester was an important area. The exhibits begin with historical background on the area and proceeds to the current state of Manchester.
