It took a little bit to find this one. Get off the main road and take the road on the other side of the river OR cross down by foot under the Historic sign. It’s really not visible from the main road. Great foot bridge with views.

Explore Main St.shops and then do the river loop. A great walk to do at any time of the year. In the Summer, the Farmers Market is in full swing on Sundays just off the covered bridge. If you're there in Oct., there is usually a pumpkin fest for Halloween. The river walk is just so nice, and the suspension swinging bridge over the Ammonoosuc is a must...hold on!! Then stop in at the local brew-houses to end the day

Such a peaceful & tranquil place to walk and listen to the river. Lush landscape, fragrant flowers, tables to picnic at and a rustic bridge to cross. The walk 1block to quaint shops and restaurants downtown.

This is a beautiful covered bridge in quaint Littleton. It’s a long covered bridge with a nice view of the river.

The Riverwalk Covered Bridge is worth a walk over especially as it’s part of seeing the natural beauty that is part of this city. Go for a walk and check it out- great photo opportunities of the river.

The downtown river district is lovely and great for walking. The bridge is large and impressive. Not historic like the others, but long and beautiful and overlooks the river. Free parking at the site.

The bridge is quite lovely though can be a bit busy. Great views and photos of the River running under it as you cross it.

We walk this bridge year round, but the winter months provide a special feeling. The crispness in the air, the ice forming along the river’s edges, and the leafless trees swaying soundlessly in the down stream breeze make for a truly New England experience. The graffiti found here and there on the bridge’s interior is as unfortunate as the food quality at the brewery on the Ammonoosuc River’s down town side.
If one walks, back to town, across the bridge, then right along the riverside foot path, a wonderful loop can be made. It’s how we walk off our weekly breakfast at Topic Of The Town. Stroll to the Littleton Toy and Book Shop for a little shopping before you move on down the road.

We were quite happy to find this bridge in the center of town. The fall colors and old grist mill located next door made for great photos.

We visited the riverfront and Main Street. Many nice shops and historic buildings. We walked across the river using the covered bridge. Very nice views on a nice sunny day. Enjoy

Are there 2 bridges ? River walk and Littleton ?

There is the covered bridge and also a suspension bridge about a 1/2 mile down river. The suspension bridge was to allow workers to get to their jobs before the roads were put in.
