Great hike

This is a short and rewarding hike. If you bring your dog just be mindful at the top. Cliff edges. Can get a bit crowded so go off season or mid week if you can.

The Indian is still around and hasn't crumbled yet like his buddy the Old Man further up the highway. He's a wonder to look at. Climb the tower to get a better look (I did it years ago, but then acrophobia set in).

The food was out standing. We also enjoyed the lounge at night. We had two different bands. They were great we danced all night. The employee's... More

Although the view was lovely, breakfast was just so-so. Service was good. Price was okay. Would have like free real maple syrup.

My husband and I decided to take in their restaurant after driving out to see the Indian head, but we were quite disappointed with their restaurant. A tour bus must have arrived before us, as they had a dessert bar set out. Waitstaff were too busy with their Halloween theme/pictures to take care of us. My husband had the baby... More

Up I-93 across from the Indian Head Resort is a stone formation of an Indian's head. The jagged rocks form his face and the mountain's foliage his headdress. Is'nt God amazing that he can form such remarkable sites?
