About
There are 21 zip-lines on 3 separate courses, the Thrillsville Aerial Challenge course, and Off-Road tours. Ziplines cover almost 3 miles of exhilaration through and above the treetops at heights of up to 250' above the forest floor. Platforms are 25' to 65' high in the trees and the zip-lines are 100' to 1600' long with speed that can reach 75 mph. Each Zipline tour includes an off-road truck ride to the top of the course. Additionally Off-Road tours are available to show of what our 6 wheel Austrian Troop Transport - Pinzgauers can do and get the best access to views of the White Mountains. And don't forget the BigAirBag at our headquarters. Life is Short...Have more Fun!

We booked our SnowShoe tour less than 24 hours before the trip. When we arrived we were met by very friendly and enthusiastic guides. Once we were all fitted for shoes and poles (if desired) we hopped in a van and drove to the mountain. Eli and Mike were so energetic and entertaining. The 6-wheel Pinzgauer was so fun to ride up the mountain (rough ride so do buckle up and don't expect a smooth paved ride). We started off in a guide built wooden lean-to/ tepee structure and began the hike. There were a lot of hills, which was absolutely fine for our group! The scenery is beautiful. We saw where the guides are building a log cabin, walked under a bunch of zipline courses and ended the trip at a guide built treehouse with some hot chocolate. The views from the treehouse were beautiful and the ride back to the van was much quicker and easier than the one up the mountain. All in all, it was fantastic. We would absolutely do it again. I would say that we overdressed for the day. I ended up having to put my coat in my husband's backpack. It was 40 degrees and cloudy during our trip. Thermal leggings and jeans with a thermal top and sweater were more than enough.

We booked our seats on the six-wheeled Pinzgauer for a noon-time excursion. After getting the safety harness and helmet set up, we traveled to their land to start. The first part of the trip is a rough and tumble trek up to their rugged trail. Next, we hiked a short distance for instruction and practice about safety and harnessing ourselves to the wire. We experienced six or seven ziplines with different paths to get to the line. For some of the lines, you have to the safety line on and off of bridges and trees, others, you merely walk to it and hook up and zip off into the blue. The support staff is accommodating and patient as you go through the hooking up and getting unhooked from the lines. The longest line, 1600 feet and 200 feet above the forest floor, is exhilarating. Make sure that you keep yourself tucked or knees up to maintain your speed to get to the exit point. One member of the party missed the landing area, and it took ten to fifteen minutes to retrieve them—safety, if crucial for all of the support staff, you that is not a concern.
Additionally, if you have no experience with ziplining or climbing, the instructional portion is easy to understand, and everyone will patiently help you. You cannot fall off a line because of your mistake, and it is almost idiot-proof. Their store does sell a holder for phones that goes around the neck. Avoid taking items in your pockets, as they say, they only have lost and no found!

We were the early birds today and we surely flew above trees and valleys. Our group of 9 total boarded the crazy truck for the trek up the Mtn. Great attention to detail and knowledgeable guides. We only wish it could’ve been longer.

This company runs great tours and has fun guides but their policies are way too strict and we lost $300 because of their inflexibility. Beware that you will not get any credit or refund if you fall sick and cancel within 72 hours or show up even 1 min late. We booked a zipline tour for 8. One of the kids got sick so we were right away out $200 because we had to cancel within 72 hours for that kid and an adult to stay with her. My husband was then 10 min late but tour hadn’t left yet and they refused to allow him to join and then we were out another $100. We then finished 30 minutes early because we were a smaller group so they could have totally waited. It’s too bad because they have great guide staff, but their policies and lack of flexibility will mean that I will never give them my business again.

We did the skyrider tour, we wanted the dual zip lines for racing each other (competitive family). Bobby and the whole crew were AMAZING! Funny, and informative. Always, checking our safety equipment, they would even take a second to check in with you emotionally, ask how you were doing, how's your comfort level, things like that, always putting us at ease! We did the Monday morning tour April 26 and it was so cold we had flurries and wind gusts, and we felt perfectly safe with them! Thank you! Make sure you tip them at the end, they deserve it!!!

All three of our kids (15, 12, 9) participated in Aerial Challenge - Thrillsville and they absolutely loved it. My youngest hit some challenging points but persevered as she was left to figure things out (with a little coaching from the ground). My other two kids found the course challenging and a lot of fun. We would definitely do it again...
I've also taken the zipline tour in the past, and it was absolutely thrilling. From the ride up the mountain to the zipelines themselves and everything in between. A definite treat for the senses.
I highly recommend checking out Alpine Adventures if you're anywhere near them.

I went with my adult son to the ropes course and the big slide. Both were great fun. Something that made it even more fun for us was stationing ourselves close to the guide during the orientation so that we were able to be first onto the ropes course. As adults we knew we'd be faster than the families with young children, and being first up meant that we could be out of their way and we weren't waiting in line for the small kids at each station.
We did all three levels. The top level has the option to do the three features over the parking lot. We opted to do those and I have to say that the first of the three was the hardest feature of them all; it got easier after that on that top level.
Once we finished with the ropes, we went down the big slide in an inner tube that lands you in this gigantic air bag after being airborne forever! Way fun and totally worth it.
We both had a great time and would go again to Alpine Adventures.

Incredible! Can’t recommend this place enough. My son and I had a great time zip lining. Everyone was kind, and thorough in their safety checks. The views were out of this world. The facility was very carefully planned and well-thought out. All the platforms were well-constructed and secure, and at no time did I or my son feel unsafe.
If I can offer one suggestion: the exhaust on the pinzauer off-road vehicle was a bit much. Could you look into routing it above the roof of the vehicle?
We will be back! High adventure looks like it will be a big part of my son’s childhood, and I think we’ll be regulars.

We booked with Alpine Adventures because they were the only company who would and could fully accommodate my mother’s wish to go Ziplining on her 90th birthday. They also accommodated my elderly father and my husband who exceeded the weight limit to be able to spectate as much of the event as possible even though they don’t normally do this. They softened the breaking for my mom and made it so no one had to break on their own at all. Also on the last zip line one of the guides, Connor, offered to go tandem with her to help steer so she could fully enjoy the beautiful view. The driver, Matt, was also great and lots of fun. Very helpful with a step stool to help my parents get in and out of the ATV. All in all it was a great experience and would highly recommend to others wanting to take someone with some limitations.

What a fabulous time!! We did the winter ziplining tour with a group of 10 people. We had 4 guides and they were all fantastic!! The military vehicle that brings you to the top of the mountain is so much fun. Be sure to buckle your seatbelt or you WILL end up in your neighbor’s lap !! The tour lasted close to 2 hours and included 6 ziplines I believe. Highly recommend as long as you’re not afraid of heights or speed!

Sorry for the delay getting back to you. The youngest age guest permitted on a zipline tour is 7 years of age for the Treetop Canopy tour, if they meet the minimum weight requirement of 50 lbs.
As an option, guests as young as 3 years old may participate in our Off-Road Adventure.
Also, 6 year olds may do the Thrillsville Arial Challenge Course if they are at least 4'6" tall, weigh at least 50 lbs and they must be accompanied by someone who is at least 16 years old.

Me gustaría saber si tienen hoteles también y a qué distancia de lincoln están ?

Headquarters/check-in for Alpine Adventures is right on main street in Lincoln NH, across from Dunkin Donuts. Our Zipline tours are conducted on our land, which we drive our guests to, about 10 minutes away.
While Alpine Adventures does not operate any hotels, there are many hotels in Lincoln and surrounding towns.

Hi Christine, So glad you will be visiting us. At Alpine Adventures our guides take care of all of your clipping in and unclipping for you. I'm not sure what you mean by dismounts. All of our takeoffs and landings are different, some are from tree to tree, tree to land, land to tree, but like a said our guides are all there with you to make sure things go smoothly. We do have some places where you use a bridge to move to or from take offs and landings; however, you are clipped in as needed. We also have different tours with varying degrees of difficulty. Please give our staff a call at 603-745-9911 and I'm confident they will help you select the perfect trip.

We have 3 people and want to go to the SUPER Skyrider tour. 2 of us already have experience with zipline. The other one is newbie. Does the SUPER Skyrider course have any zipline for people to get used to it first before getting on the long/high ones?
Written September 7, 2017
I was a newbie and did the super skyride! They give you a test course before sending you up!

Girlfriend and I are physically fit but with no zip-line experience. Would we be able to do the Super SkyRider Zip-Line?
Written June 19, 2016
The Super SkyRider Tour is our fastest, highest, longest and most strenuous trip. For these reasons we recommend this trip for experienced zippers. That said, if you are fit, are not afraid of heights, and enjoy an adrenaline rush then the Super SkyRider may be the tour for you, even if you are a first time zipper.
Please note all guests on the Super SkyRider tour must be between 70 and 200 lbs and not taller than 6'5".

We are vacationing out there this June with 5 girls ages ranging from 8-12. They are all huge thrill seekers. If you're familiar with Cedar Point in Sandusky, OH they all absolutely love the Millenium coaster, especially the 8 year old. I saw on the website that the recommended minimum age is 10 however for the zip line. Looking for advice about the treetop zip line with this age of a group, especially the 8 year old. We have never been zip lining before. I personally am not a thrill seeker and this just sounds plain crazy to me, but my husband and daughters are and think this sounds amazing.
Written April 26, 2016
The age range of your group is fine. As long as they meet the weight/height (50lbs min for treetop canopy tour and 70 lbs for skyrider) requirements, and you think that they are all brave enough to do the zip line, they will allow all the kids on. Our family loves adventure too - mine actually zip lined in Costa Rica when they were 4, 6 and 8 (they are now 9, 11, 13 and still crave adventure) and that zip line was 500 ft high (in tandem b/c of none of them were heavy enough - they'll get stuck in the middle if they don't weigh enough). They will love it. I think they may have a couple of "chicken zip lines" at the beginning of the tour that are lower and shorter to ensure no one in the group "chickens out". It is definitely something to try once in your life - it is so much fun and a lot less scary than jumping off a platform b/c you know the harness has you. Hope that helps and have a great time!

Hello! We are trying to decided between alpine adventures and Bretton woods zipline. Has anyone done both? Which one was more thrilling? Also how strict are they with the 220 weight limit? We have a couple friends that are borderline. Thank you!
Written April 12, 2016
Hi -- I haven't done both, but I have done Alpine Adventures several times. Highly recommend them however, they likely will enforce their weight limit. Good luck!
