My son was really excited to ride on the train, it was okay. There was some nice scenery on the way. But kind of disappointing that you ride out on the same rail and return on the same section of rail, so you see the same bit of dense forest. My son still enjoyed it and that was all that... More

We have been on the rail and mini golf several times of the last 10 years. The kids love riding on the train and look forward to a snack of ice cream while on the way back to the station. The round trip is about 80 minutes and the views are very nice. A few bridges of the river and... More

Hobo Railroad gives you a chance to get off your feet and relax while taking in the mountain countryside. Bring a deck of cards and play some games using the tables. A picnic lunch can be purchased or bring your own snacks along. The experience of riding the train is what you make of it.

Wonderful views as you ride. Can purchase a hobo lunch and eat on the train if you like. They do offer drinks and snacks to purchase if you don't order lunch. Can purchase a putt and ride combo so after you ride the train you can go play golf. We rode the train at 11:00AM and came back later at... More

Took a train ride to from Lincoln, NH to Meredith and Weirs beach, NH. Excellent ride. Serve ice cream for small fee and drinks and other snack foods. Clown for balloons for kids. They have a great dinner train thru Hobo Railroad as well. Won't be disappointed

This is a great way to while away a couple of hours seeing the countryside around Lincoln. They appear reluctant to let you take your own food and drink on, which is a bit off given most people will be there with young kids. That is the only negative about this train ride.

I took the trip with my mom. We sat at a table (each of us took a window seat) and were looking forward to seeing some beautiful sights. Unfortunately, the trees block the majority of any scenery around. I got a bit of a headache from the diesel that runs the train. I guess I expected more from the trip,... More
