We had a wonderful time!!!

I made the mistake of reading these reviews before we took the Journey to the North Pole with our family (12 of us total - 6 children aged 6 months to 6.5 years). I was expecting a disaster. But we had a WONDERFUL time. The kids LOVED it. First, the things I think they could improve upon... 1. I think... More

My wife and I took our two kids, ages 5 and 1 and 1/2. I purchased 4 first class tickets so it cost over $200.00. I also live in the Manchester NH area so it was a 1 and 1/2 hour drive to and from the Lincoln. If you go with no expectations of the movie in your head and... More

What can I say, train ride during foliage season sounded like a good idea and the ticket price was a lot cheaper than many of the other trains we've taken. Well you get what you pay for but I definitely do not feel shafted. No it's not a "scenic" railroad but it does have some nice spots, especially the views... More

The station was nice, not enough room for the amount of people waiting for the next train. The train cart we were in was decorated nicely. Hot chocolate was ok. My 7yr old son really enjoyed it. The journey to the North pole was only a 10 min ride.

My toddler loved it. It was scenic and educational for us too. We had an amazing time. Maybe we will go back again.

We didn't want to spend all day on a train, but wanted a little train ride, so this was a good option at a one and a half hour trip. The place where you begin the trip is worth the visit itself in my opinion. They have made it a very pretty spot, and the mini golf course next door... More

We have been on a lot of train rides and this is one of the best scenic views of them all as you go around lake Winnipesaukee. We went one way as we got off and then got on the MV Mount Washington boat cruise. The staff were all very nice and made for a good time. The fall foliage... More

We rode the HOBO Railroad for the foliage and enjoyed it very much. The trees were turning pretty but the trees along most of the track made it hard to see the mountains of trees colored behind them.

This is a two hour trip, 10 miles along the river and back. They have a nice gift shop at the depot and you can order a sack lunch to take on the train. Equipment is good and the views are nice along the river. Sit on either side then switch over to the other side when the train stops... More

We booked this ride expecting to have access to a scenic ride with stops for picture taking. I am a serious photography enthusiast so I was looking forward to capture the beautiful scenery. The train rides through the woods so you only see tree trunks passing by and every now and then a clearing where you could shoot a pic... More
