Whether you're a walker, a mountain biker, or a trail runner, you'll find plenty to love in the Boston Lot. It's got everything from wide and smooth to technical single track with everything in between and all in the beautiful woods of NH.

I only recently found Boston Lot but am sure glad I did. It has a decent size parking lot which makes it very accessible. The road up to the pond is wide, but not paved and a bit steep so you get a fair work out before you get to the trails. There is a kiosk just off the parking lot and another before you get to the pond with a map of the trails. There is a trail that goes all the way around the pond and picnic tables next to the pond.

Boston Lot is fabulous and expansive, with tons of trails. Many of the trails are very technical- rocky and rooty, but there are some less challenging options. There must be 20, 30, or more, miles of trails. And since UVMBA (Upper Valley Mountain Bike Association) has stepped up in the last couple years and taken over some of the maintenance duties, the signage is great, and maps are available too.
Boston Lot can be accessed from multiple locations in Lebanon and surrounding towns, so make sure you know where you started.
A decent sized network of trails are manually groomed by dedicated users for winter fat biking and snowshoeing. Please do not post-hole!(walking in snow without snowshoes).

If you enjoy hiking, be sure to hike around Boston Lot Lake. It is very scenic. Parking is across from the dam in the Connecticut River off route 10. It is a pretty good hike up the hill to get to the lake, but then you are hiking around the lake. If you are new to the trails, stick to the trail around the lake as you could easily get lost by taking spur trails. Also, if you are there at the right time of year, check for blackberries along the trail. :)

Great for trail runs (don't get lost!) and swimming or soaking up the sun. One of my regular running circuits and trail biking spots.

Swimming hiking mountain biking. Great place to spend the day. Trails are mostly shad)ed. Good connections between trails to make the day longer or shorter

I've been geocaching on this lot for near a decade and it is well maintained. Excellent views and picnic area.

This is a hidden gem, tucked into the woods. Great for swimming in the summer. No motorized traffic, you have to walk to get here. Lots of birds, ducks, other wildlife.

It is a great hike. You can hike the regular trail and go to Boston lot and you can find the longer and more difficult trails ( that are marked very well) and spend some more time in the nature preserve. I took my dog and he loved it. just be careful if you are new to hiking/ going on a trail. it is moderate in difficulty. but the Boston lot is simply gorgeous.
