Great Place To Let Kids Work Off Energy

A great favorite if locals. Lots of space for young kids to run around, skate park for older kids, horse shoe area and great walking trails. A covered Pavillion with many big people tables and a few little people tables give plenty of seating. A few extra tables strewn throughout give a great spot for those wanting just a quiet lunch.

Downside to this park is no restroom facilities. There are 2 porta-potties but in really warm summertime heat they are next to unbearable. The other downside is no handwashing locations and I haven't seen a drinking fountain. Other than that the kids love it here and we prepare ourselves with handiest and such when we come.

Fun place

This is a great place for families to hang out. Whether you have a picnic for one or a family reunion this is the place to be. There are many things for families to do here. Brings your skateboard or bat and ball. Frisbee would be fun. You make your own fun and you will enjoy the fresh air and canopy I case it unexpectly rained.

Playground + Skateboard Park + Picnicing + Horseshoes + Riverside

Only locals could find this by accident if their GPS takes them from LL Beans to the movie theater via Glen Road. All you see from the road is a small playground and skateboard park, but you fail to see the other half of the playground, picnic area, pavillion and a walk to Mascoma river where you can sit and put your feet in the river on a hot summer day. Everything is well kept up, plenty of parking. The only thing between this and five stars is no swings ?!?
