A long time ago, I came. I stopped for years after numerous bad experiences, i.e. dirty diapers in water, crowded, too loud.... Well, on a whim I went back because I didn't care to travel too far - and I'm glad I did. It wasn't crowded because I went on a weekday, it was clean, a bit loud but children play loud most times. I did enjoy my stay and will be returning - on a weekday.

Nice place to get out of the heat and walk through some lake side woods. Not a play park or place to find any commercial activities. Just a family spot (often over crowded weekends with Mass. families trying to enjoy some NH), where you can picnic, play a little and cool down in a small sandy beach area. Some fishing a hundred yards from the family areas to show little ones how to catch small stuff. Although I have pulled 15 inch plus pickerel from the same spot. A favorite place to walk in the fall when the color hits around the lake.

We came here to get some shade and swimming on a HOT day. It was nice enough and a good value at $4 an adult. No lifeguards which I found troubling with so many kids in the water. No accessable bathrooms, you have to climb a hill and stairs for changing and restrooms. There is a nice little refreshments stand and lots of cute tame ducks.

We live in this town and take full advantage all sumner long. Sonetines it's very full but kids always have friends to play with. There are grilling stations, ttauls, a small playground, boat rentals, and a snack stand.

Kengsington State Park can be a fun place to go for a day.
If you go on the weekends it is crowded and in my opinion not as much fun as a week day.
Great place to spend the day with the family. Don't forget your picknic basket!

The place is overcrowded with lawrence massachusetts residents that completely trash the place and are continously loud and obnoxious and dont care who else is around. Its sad nh allows this i used to go here constantly as a kid in the late 90's and it was clean and gorgeous, now theres lines of mass plate cars all the way to the kingston plaza..funny we pay exoborant taxes in this town and cant even use the lake in our own town.

Left after a very short time. Playground could very much use an upgrade. Not the cleanest area. High bacteria levels that day which didn't tell you on the website when making reservations.

Not a peaceful locals spot. so crowded you can't get near the water. Stay away on weekends. Early morning swims are fine.

Its a small beach with a playground. Nice for a quick day out with the kids. They have paddleboards and kayaks for rent and small snack shack as well.
