We have started at a variety of locations, and really enjoy the path from Troy up towards Keene. There is parking at the old Troy railroad station, and you can walk for miles with trees surrounding you, as well as the river next to you.

Pathways for Keene has done an excellent job with the rail system in Keene. One section near downtown has a bicycle repair station. If you are a runner or cyclist this is the place to train. They have two bridges that cross over highways
