Muddy Paw Sled Dog Kennel is the premier dog sled touring operator in New England. We offer year round dog sledding adventures that range from 2 - 50 miles (including overnights). All of our dog sledding experiences are designed to be hands on to the comfort level of the guests. Participants ages 2 and up are given the opportunity to meet and greet our rescue and second chance sled dogs, help harness and hitch their team and even help drive the sled (at musher discretion for guests and dog safety of course)! As always, the proceeds generated from our kennel based tours go directly to covering the expenses involved in taking in these incredible canine athletes and providing them with a home and job for life.

We were looking forward to our first-ever dog sled ride, and we were pleasantly surprised to have the opportunity to meet many of the 130 dogs who waited eagerly at their houses and platforms to see if we would give them some affection. It was very interesting to see the different personalities. The mushers knew a lot about each of... More

While on a "Girl's Trip" this was a must on our things to do list. I booked us a 2 hour adventure with 2 sleds. We had a great time meeting all the dogs, harnessing the dogs and of course taking the sled ride. It was AMAZING. We all had a great time.

My husband and I returned here after 6 years and it's even better than ever. More dogs, longer rides. We did a 3 hour tour and Wes was amazing. He had great stories, lots of information about the place and the dogs. We will have to return yet again. 😀

Loved it. Great time . Dogs are sweet guides were fun and made you feel safe. Boys got to harness dogs. It was cold so wear warm clothing and cover your neck. I want to do it again already

We had a great time at Muddy Paw! Our musher, Wes, was very friendly and knowledgable about the dogs. His passion for his job and the dogs made our experience even better. We did the 2 hour tour and got to meet and play with four 6 week old puppies as well as over 100 sled dogs. We would definitely... More

I planned this ride for my granddaughter and I. It was a two mile loop for $210 booked at our stay in Bretton Woods. It was the last ride of the day and the handlers did not seem very interested in explaining anything about the dogs or their history with the kennel. We were a few minutes into the trip... More

This was the highlight of our visit to NH. Hannah was our guide and was absolutely wonderful with making sure we were comfortable and with answering our many questions. Muddy Paws rescues many dogs and provides a safe home for them. I would have brought healthy cookie treats for the dogs had I known I could. They were so excited... More
