- Mary Ann B107 contributionsMagicalSuch a magical experience. We ordered our tickets online where there at opening and we right to Santa . We were maybe the second family in line . Santa was kind and the whole experience was magical. I was surprised by the affordable prices of the photo packages . We found all items at the park priced fairly. Compared to other amusement parks. Feeding the reindeer was so much fun. The location is magical in a somewhat remote area so we made sure to have plenty of fuel .Visited November 2023Traveled with familyWritten November 18, 2023
- Climber1887927 contributionsMagicalWe have gone to Santas Village twice before during the summer. However, this is the first time we went during the Christmas season. Our kids are 9 and 7 yo, so we knew this was one of the last “magical” years. We went on a day when tickets were sold out, but it was never too crowded. The longest line we waited in was about 40 minutes for the sleigh ride. Most of the time we waited about 5 minutes to get on a ride. The scenery and lights were perfection, and I really felt like I was in Santa Village. My kids enjoyed the rides, getting a ring at the Blacksmith shop and playing the “Elfabet” game. The donuts at the donut stand were so fresh and tasty- the perfect afternoon treat. If you go during the winter, make sure to bundle up even if it isn’t that cold as you will spend the entire day outside. My kids can’t wait to go back during the summer so we can do the waterpark .Visited December 2023Traveled with familyWritten December 10, 2023
- Helen P8 contributionsIf you haven't been yet - GO!What an amazing little treasure in the mountains of NH! We visited with our 7 y/o and 5 y/o daughters and had the best time. It is clean, safe and has a ton of activities to enjoy! The staff was professional and kind. We loved Paul at Himalaya and Reggie at the Carousel, who were extra great with the kids, but everyone was wonderful. We also tried out the brand new roller coaster, The Midnight Flyer, which was a total blast! Our 5 y/o is short, like the size of a 3 y/o, but of course wants the experiences of the kids her ages and we found that she was able to go on all of the rides, with the exception of the bumper cars, as long as a parent accompanied her. We GREATLY appreciated this consideration as it allowed her to have the full experience. The water park was also amazing. Overall, a wonderful day in a beautiful spot. It is obvious that a lot of thought and attention has gone into the park. We will be back!Visited June 2024Traveled with familyWritten June 22, 2024

I went with my parents 50 years ago, I took my children 25 years ago and today, we took my kids and my 2 year old grandson. Even though it rained, we had a fantastic time! Lines were short, all of Santa’s Helpers were so friendly and helpful and the food was awesome! We loved every secondVisited June 2024Traveled with familyWritten June 29, 2024
- Adventure5954174 contributionsGreat Day Had by AllJust returned from a family trip to Santa's Village, and I can't say enough about the great time that was had by all three generations of our family. The park wasn't overcrowded (probably due to the online ticketing requirement), the lines for the rides were short, there was plenty of shade, plenty of places to sit while waiting for riders and lots of picnic tables. All of the employees were pleasant and the rides were fun! I hadn't been here in almost 30 years, and was so pleased to see that it has retained its charm. I would (and already have!) highly recommend Santa's Village to anyone looking for a fun day in the White Mountains.Visited July 2024Traveled with familyWritten July 10, 2024
- James GBoston, Massachusetts74 contributionsSpectacular!Wonderful! I cannot say enough about the experience we had at Santa's Village. I had not been since I was a child 35 years ago. Bringing my own family for the first time, I was struck by the care taken to ensure the guest experience. Limitations on the number of visitors prevented any long lines for rides and amusements. The staff was courteous and helpful. It is rare in this modern day to find a business that puts the patron experience above that of profit. A fantastic time was had by all, I cannot recommend it enough!Visited July 2024Traveled with familyWritten August 5, 2024
- Holly @ LoveAtFirstSite.blogNewport, Vermont203 contributionsSanta's Village Never DisappointsNever have we left Santa's Village and said we didn't have a good time. We've been going there since we were kids (in our 40s now) and it still is fun for both us and the kids. The Waterpark is a huge attraction. While crowded even on this week day visit, it wad refreshing and fun for all. Whether you tackle the water slides, play in the splash pad or just wade in the water - it's all good! This years big change is the new roller coaster. They did a good job advertising it's arrival because there were long lines for it with everyone wanting a turn. My family all had a great ride (or two) on it. One tip is we always buy the refillable cups. It's 15 bucks each with unlimited fill ups. You get to keep the cup, and get as many drinks in it while you are there. Definitely worth it for is. Until next time SV...Visited July 2024Traveled with familyWritten August 5, 2024
- Lucy B1 contributionBest park in the worldSO worth the travel time!! It is the only park that is relaxing not tiring! Everything about this park is wonderful. I just went back after a 10 year hiatus and it is better than ever. Adults and children of ALL ages enjoy their time there. We will do 2 days instead of 1 next time!Visited August 2024Traveled with familyWritten August 8, 2024
- naticookMerrimack, New Hampshire2 contributionsAugust visitI have been going to Santa’s Village for 15 years in a row, first with my Grandchildren and now with other little ones in the family. It is always clean, friendly, and the flowers are beautiful. It is also very friendly to older people like myself who have trouble walking. They actually stopped the log flume ride when I got on and off. This is truly a special place.Visited August 2024Traveled with familyWritten August 9, 2024
- Leah B3 contributionsThe staff will warm your heartI didn't expect my heart to be touched at an amusement park, but it was here. Celeste the snow angel was in the book store when we went in, and my two year old noticed her reading a story to another child. To my amazement, my child picked out a book, waited her turn, and then plopped down right next to Celeste! Celeste was so good with her and a great story reader, we bought the book and she signed it for us. Much later in the day, we waved to her from the sky sleigh and she remembered my child's name! She said "Hi, (child's name)!" It was magical. The whole staff went above and beyond, including a lady who saw my child drop her freshly decorated gingerbread cookie face down on the floor and swooped right in to get her a fresh one. It honestly felt like being surrounded by family. There was a total absence of the usual money grabbing theme park gimmicks. There were several water fountains to fill up your bottle at, for example. It felt like everyone just wanted the best for the kids and for each other. The spirit of Christmas is alive in Santa's Village.Visited August 2024Traveled with familyWritten August 15, 2024

Tickets are a little pricey considering they have half the rides shut down and all the games closed.
Jul 2020
I have to give them some credit I do think they are doing everything they can to sanitize everything after each use as well as telling people the MUST wear masks when waiting in line, which i appreciated. They also have each line for the rides marked off so people stand 6 feet apart. However, the tickets are still the same price as they were when pre COVID which is pretty ridiculous considering half the rides are shut down and none of carnival games or anything extra is open. My son, who is 6, was pretty happy to go but at times he did get bored. I wouldn't recommend going right now.

Greetings, joslynl86.
Thank you for taking the time to write a review -- however, given the inaccuracies in your headline and your description, we can't help but wonder if you've confused Santa's Village in Jefferson, New Hampshire, with some other park?
We've regularly had 17 of our 20 rides open, with a couple of very temporary exceptions, and we only have one carnival game and it has been open regularly this week. Regarding anything extra beyond rides and games, we're also operating the water park daily, Santa and his reindeer have been here every day to visit with guests, most of our food outlets and gift shops have been serving daily, and the Elfabet scavenger hunt is available daily.
We're pleased to have opened two major new attractions in 2020 -- the Polar Paradise section of our water park, and the all-new Great Humbug Adventure dark ride -- and have been very happy to hear from our guests they are very appreciative of the value and pure joy they find here for the price of admission, even given the restrictions required during a global pandemic.
Best wishes for safe summer.

Overall nice for the kids but we didn't love it. The Reindeer barn is so sad. Most everyone was great but we did come across one pretty rude ride attendant. First he commented on my rushing to get my kids strapped in, then when one of my kids was shaking in fear he ignored my 'thumbs down' signal attempting to have him stop the ride. He afterwards said he thought I was signaling to someone else. The water area is great for kids, would be nice if they had showers. Food is reasonably priced if you don't consider the money you already paid for the ticket to get in. Covid precautions/ distancing were not as well enforced as I would have liked.

Our family always loves visiting here. We came on a very rainy day, but I was pleasantly surprised that most rides were still running (also, free ponchos!). The communication from the staff was topnotch. For example, the Rudolph coaster could only fill 5 rows due to the rain, I’m guessing, and the line was very slow. The ride operators repeatedly walked down to the end of the line to explain why it was taking so long - just that simple act of communicating to the guests was much appreciated and made a difference (as well as the hilarious ride operator).
The rain slowed to a drizzle at the end of our stay, so of course the kids wanted to visit the water park area. We haven’t been in a couple years, but they added another very large water area and slides, perfect for toddlers and younger ones.

Great experience 11/12 and 11/13, even in the rain! Everything was still open and employees helped make the best of the less than ideal weather. Bring ponchos and rain boots if it’s looking rainy, they did sell ponchos at the gift shop but the line was long.
Our 3&6 year old had a BLAST. So much to do. Even our youngest was able to ride almost every ride, and our oldest had so much fun too. They also enjoyed decorating gingerbread men/women at the bakery and feeding the reindeer. Don’t kiss the humbug adventure; so cute/festive and something much different than the other rides. There was no line a few times throughout the day; as if other visitors didn't realize there was a ride in there. Also a good spot to get out of the weather for a bit!
We were SO glad we rented the family suite. Cute little private spot with table, chairs, heat (or AC), and a fridge. The windows now have shades for privacy too! We used it throughout the day when the rain was heavy to dry off, warm up, and have a snack. Also convenient to be able to leave our bags of hats/mittens/clothes changes/etc somewhere rather than carrying it around all day. The sink didn’t have running water; wish we knew that in advance, but it did have outlets to charge devices before the long drive home.
The gentleman working the bumper cars around 1140 on Sunday 11/13/22 was fantastic! Such a great attitude and pumped everyone up before bumper cars!
We visited for 3.5 hours (evening ticket) Saturday and 6 hours Sunday. We would’ve stayed longer if we didn’t have a long drive home. Love Santa’s village! We will be back for years to come :)

We take our kids to this amusement park every summer and we absolutely love it! We weren't sure how good it would be in 2020, due to COVID-19, but we decided to take a chance and made a reservation. We ended up having a wonderful time! The screening process was smooth, lines were short or non-existent, and the staff was friendly. One staff member did confide to us that they've been struggling to have enough people working each day, but we would not have known. The picture with Santa was a little strange, since you had to sit on a bench 6 feet in front of Santa, but I give them kudos for finding a way to do it at all. All in all, we went on every ride multiple times, we loved the improved Great Humbug Adventure, and we still enjoyed our favorite snacks and treats. I would highly recommend this for families with children under 12.

We just spent a magical day at Santa's Village in December while it was snowing. We got there when it first opened at 11:00 and were able to do many of the rides with little to know wait. There was plenty of opportunity to get warm with heaters and inside attractions even though it was snowing and the temperature was 25 degrees. There was precious few inside seats to eat but we brought sandwiches and snacks. The grandkids said this was their best trip ever.

Traveled with a 3yo and 5yo on a summer vacation. Here are our takeaways
1. It helps to get there early as we showed up 7 mins after the park opened and the main lot was already full but the lines everywhere were pretty reasonable
2. Park is very clean, there are trash cans (little penguins) everywhere, all the bathrooms were very clean, it was one of the cleanest parks we've been to.
3. Hit Santa and the skyway sleigh ride first. With 2 young children, any extended waiting is always dangerous. Santa was one of our first stops and we waited maybe 5 mins where as by lunchtime you were probably waiting at least a half hour
4. There is no fast pass/quick access system but for a park like this I think it's actually a good thing. We didn't wait more than 20ish mins and that was only for 1-2 rides.
5. We packed a lunch (you can bring anything in) but the had ice cream, donuts (they spell it doenuts), and other snacks that were all excellent
6. Strollers are free (although they do ask for donations) so unless you need it for storage I wouldn't bring anything bulky. The strollers don't provide any shade though so on a hot/sunny day that could be more problematic. We brought a small umbrella stroller that worked well and took out another, that worked well.
7. It did not end up being warm enough to enjoy any of the small water park that is included with admission but what we did see looked like a lot of fun.
8. They have capacity limits and while parking was packed, the park did not feel overcrowded.
9. It's in the middle of nowhere with poor service so have your tickets downloaded before hand (you can't buy tickets at the park)

I visited with my family in July 2020 during the COVID-19 pandemic and honestly had an amazing, unforgettable time! The park felt SO safe and still had most of the attractions opened. The park was not crowded and we were able to do almost everything! I think it was one of my 3 year old's favorite days!
My 10 month old also had a great time and was able to go on some of the attractions.
(We also went to Story Land during the same week and thought Santa's Village did a MUCH better job managing pandemic precautions and keeping things open.)
Would go again for sure- even during the pandemic! Highly recommend.
We love Santa's Village!

Santa’s Village is Elf-tastic! From the moment we entered the park, the joy and magic of Christmas sparkled. The look of the park was outstanding: welcoming staff, freshly painted attractions, impeccable flowers, and the cleanest bathrooms and walking paths. The rides were enjoyable for all ages offering a variety of charm, like the bubbly old-fashioned carwash. The sky view monorail and ferris wheel offer breathtaking views of the mountains. Feeding Santa’s reindeer was a highlight, as one can tell how well Santa and his elves take care of these essential icons of flight. Seeing a chapel and nativity was refreshing, allowing the message of Christmas to be reinforced with my friends and family. To cool off, the waterpark offers a kiddie pool with entertainment and slides that any adult would enjoy. Children and adults were actively engaged with the character balancing the plunger on his nose and the juggler. Make sure you bring your friends on the “Nice” list to this joyful adventure.

Our family attended this past Saturday and had a great time. I'd like to commend the employees, they are attentive, courteous, helpful and.... these days..... what I'd call normal, good kids/young adults. No blank stares, drooping mouths or grunting and pointing, etc.
We noticed how the grounds were kept very clean as well as the attractions being kept in good repair. We especially liked that since Christmas is actually a religious day that there was a chapel, wisemen and creche available so we don't forget.
Great for kids whether the ride area or the water area - all on one ticket. Another aspect of the park that speaks for itself is when you leave there is a sign which directs you to either the gift shop if you're so inclined or the exit without going through the gift shop. One thing to be aware of - when purchasing tickets - I think it's 3 years or under don't need a ticket BUT they do need a reservation. Scroll down the ticket page for that.

Since we have to buy tickets in advance is there a difference between the number of tickets sold on a weekend or a weekday? I guess what I'm saying is are weekends busier? Or is that not possible because of the presale ticket thing and capacity limits? Or is that not a thing anymore?

We visited Santa's Village last summer and LOVED LOVED LOVED it. This year, because of scheduling we really can't make it until August. I see on the calendar that you are open the entire month of August. I know some parks shut some stuff down or do shifts because of staffing in August. Do you guys do that? Does stuff remain open? I'm looking at the week of August 14th. Any advice would be appreciated. We are looking forward to visiting.

Thank you for visiting last summer and for making Santa's Village a part of your plans again in 2022. We are open daily through Aug. 29 in 2022 and, while we anticipate having everything open throughout each day, you're correct that some features may possibly need to be closed for parts or all of some dates based on staffing once we reach mid-August. Many of our college-bound helpers start dropping off the schedule around that time, and many of our helpers who attend or work in the local schools reduce their schedules for school-oriented commitments. Even so, any date we're open we're committed to providing Pure Joy, Family Style with Santa and his reindeer, the majority of our rides and shops open, the water park operating in warm weather, other treats such as the Elphabet scavenger hunt and blacksmith shop with its rings, and the spirit of Christmas in the air.
