The new River Street Theatre (or RST) is a project of The Park Theatre. In anticipation of the construction and opening of the new Park Theatre performing arts center, the RST will be a small, intimate theatre venue to "bridge" the construction project until the new theatre complex opens. The RST presents new movies, live music, comedy and other events.

Where can you go see a classical movie and likely know half the audience, be able to ask the house manager to turn up or down the heat for you, mid-show,or or find yourself in a cozy, intimate setting (less than 30 seats) to watch an opera, a Shakespeare play or a first class movie. River St. Theater is a little jewel in the Monadnock Region.

I loved watching the movie ballet from London, Manon, two weeks after the live show. Extrodinary entertainment, with an owner who knows how to bring it.

About 30 seats and a small but perfectly adequate screen. They offer an interesting variety of films. Check their website.

Very friendly staff and nice intimate theater. Great variety of films with many award winners. I especially appreciate the Stage to Screen performances.

This 30 seat theatre puts you up close and personal with HD broadcasts from Covent Garden, the Royal Ballet, theatre performances. Incredible variety of shows. Good concession stand with different eats. A little gem.

Great movie selections! Saw 2 in one week as so unusual. Attended a solo performance of a play that was unique and very well done.
