Absolutely misleading when you pull into parking space and see the water right in front of you. Almost didn't get out because figured it was lame. IT was AWESOME!!!! Less crowded than Diana's Baths and just as beautiful. You MUST get water shoes to fully enjoy walking and hiking through the water! Can't wait to go back.

Beautiful views to see while relaxing to the soothing sounds of the river. Lots of flat places to park your beach chair, towel or blanket. You can sit and read, watch people in the water with their kids or dogs or adventure through the river. Be careful with little ones on the wet rocks though they can be slippery. The... More

A little off the beaten track, Jackson Falls is a gorgeous place to sit and picnic, swim in the pools, watch others swim in the pools and slide down the gentle falls. Quiet, set in the pines, granite rocks smooth and slippery to slide into the water from.

It was a busy weekend up in the mountains and we found this spot to be much less busy than other places we visited. There are a number of pools and areas suitable for exploring by all ages. I would recommend water shoes or something else with grip. My little one fell in due to a slippery rock. Secluded and... More

Jackson falls is a wonderful place to cool off on a hot day, or to just enjoy the sounds of the rushing water and take in the view. It is actually walkable from the Inn at Ellis River, but is easy to park at if you decide to drive.

Nice view. Not part of the National Forest. The river flow is slow in August so safe for a quick dip. Located just outside of Jackson village

Lots of fun navigating the small pools of water or sunning on the rocks in the river. Great place for a picnic. Easy walk from the Wentworth or nearby inns.

These were the best falls we visited during our vacation in New Hampshire. I visited the falls with my two daughters, ages 2 & 6. There is parking right there on the side of the road, so there are no long hikes to go on. We were the only ones there at 10:00am, which really made the experience more peaceful.... More
