We went to this place years ago and it apparently still hasn’t changed. This is not a kid friendly place. As soon as we walked in the door with our train-loving son (then nearly 3) the woman left the front counter to stop us and inform us that we can look but don’t touch anything and keep our child with us at all times. She was rude. It doesn’t matter that our son was extremely well behaved and wouldn’t have ventured off on his own anyway. Even if he was a rambunctious toddler, you still don’t greet people at the door that way. And, yes, it is still way overpriced. If you’re an adult enthusiast, you’d probably really enjoy it here. Not for families with younger children.

Everything you could possibly want for a model railroader. All brands and scales of locos and rolling stock. Old & new! Accessories galore. Operating indoor displays and outdoor operating trains. If you're into model railroading...this is a place to visit.

The place is closing down and I can see why. Even at liquidation prices....everything is extremely expensive to buy. They want you to buy absolute crap to pay for your ticket to ride their run down railroad that's outside. On top of that my son who is three walked around the shop with us. For the most part, he kept his hands to himself, but what boy isn't tempted to touch cool looking trains? I hovered over him the entire time and made sure he didn't touch anything. A women comes running at us because he barely touched an overpriced toy looking tractor. She then proceeded to talk about us to the store clerk. They hate kids here. Good riddance to them!
