Very well maintained park with a great set of trails to hike. There is also a good playground, historic sites and decent fishing. Great place to cross country ski in the winter as well.

Clean, beautiful and relaxing. Great for walks and getting out of the house. The dog park is excellent. The pond is filled with turtles and surprisingly not too dirty. However, I wouldn't recommend swimming in there at all.

Love the park, such a wonderful place to visit - with the young people in their finery for the prom taking pictures, children on the swings and playground, people just walking around and enjoying!!

Not that I know of. They would announce it in the Hudson/Litchfield News. I read them all and I haven't seen anything.

If you bring a grill with you. There aren't any available there. There are plenty of tables and benches to sit on. Ive seen people barbecuing there so I dont believe thats an issue.

We have ridden bikes there but it's not the easiest place to ride with the hills, gravel, etc. In my opinion I would consider it a great place to walk and enjoy nature - don't forget to get a sub at Cahill's which is very... More
