Stopped for a place to picnic on a family road trip. It was a great spot for this purpose, with plenty of picnic tables and spaces! There is a small swimming area, I just put my feet in for a quick cool down. Clean facilities and friendly park staff. Ample parking.

This lake is nice and quiet. Found it to be quite clean. You can bring floatation devices which is a plus and they will use their compressor to inflate for you. The roped off area is quite shallow but you are allowed outside of it to swim. They have a snack bar, bathrooms, changing area, picnic tables, grills to barbeque.... More

This used to be a nice place but it's now overrun with people from Massachusetts and most of them don't speak English. Not a clean lake to swim in - problem with lots of weeds.

When I first moved to Hollis I was so happy there was a pond so close. However the water quality can be so bad you usually can't swim. And I never will. I would pass on Silver Lake State Park. This is frequented by mainly Mass. residents because it is so close to the border.

Great place to snowmobile, lots of trails and many great views. Great family trip. Summer time is nice there but think the water needs some clean up.

I live near the lake (one town away). There are beautiful lakes in NH this is not one of them. In the summer this pond gets to warm and bacteria grows. and it is surrounded by homes on the edge. If you decide to go anyway, be careful crossing the street its a main road in the town.

We drove over to the lake with intent of swimming, but due to poor water conditions no one can swim or wade in the water which made it a very disappointing trip. It would cost $4 for an adult to go in and sit on the beach.

Small beach area of the lake. Can rent canoes. Bathrooms and changing areas were sub par but what can you really expect at a beach with lots of sand to dirty things up. Lots of space for picnicking though - plenty of tables and grills around by the woods next to the beach. There's also a playground. $4 per person... More

Sorry- we used to love this pace but it as gone down hill the last few years and is dirty, unkempt and in disrepair. Too bad because it used to be a great day place for the family

Great places to bring your family. The park is very clean and keep up. Would tell my friends to pack your family and head to the park.
