Now Moved to Washington NH
Aug 2017 • Friends
Great spot to visit and beautiful pewter. Jon is now in a new shop in Washington, NH in the heart of the village. We miss Jon and his family here in Hillsborough, but very glad they have found such a lovely spot to move to.

So after you explore Hillsborough, head on up to Washington and visit Gibson Pewter. You won't be disappointed.

Art in metal

The pewter pieces produced by Jon Gibson are elegant and timeless. They work equally well with modern decor and traditional style. Pewter becomes even more beautiful with use, so don't hesitate to include the well-made bowls, plates, and platters in your daily table settings as well as for holiday feasts.

Some of the pieces are in permanent museum collections, and all of them are worthy of display.

A true artist at work in a pewter shop that is visitor friendly. You can converse and see the products in production while you visit.

The very best in historic artisan made pewter by a real craftsman
May 2016 • Couples
But... they have moved. You will have to head to Washington, NH. John Gibson is a true artist. Committed to excellence. His pewter is nothing short of a testament to history. Using historic molds, John hand crafts everything from lamps to spoons, tankards to the finest tea pots. We always bring our guests and friends who visit NH to John's shop. Worth the visit from anywhere. We haven't been to the new shop in Washington, but I'm sure it will be just as great as the old barn.

Crafting marvelous pewter items of all sizes
Aug 2014 • Friends
Fascinating to watch this wonderful craftsman using old interesting tools to fashion all sorts of pewter items in a big, old barn. It's worth the drive just to watch him at work! But then there are the great objects to gift to yourself or others. My friend who has summered nearby her whole life is a regular customer for both her own homes and for lovely, special items for christenings, weddings, house warmings, etc. When I was there, items ranged from small Christmas ornaments to gorgeous reproduction of colonial tea sets.
