We drove through and wanted to stop to visit. But there is no where to park. Drove around for 30 minutes to find parking and had to pay at a meter. They do not have visitor parking for those who want to see the campus -- or at least I could not find it. It was a pretty campus. The... More

The worship center has a exceptional replica of Noah's Ark. The quad is very inviting and the entire campus offers plenty opportunities to stroll along amongst young adults that believe they will make a difference in the world.

Traveling to Hanover to visit Dartmouth is a return to an incredible college experience for those who attended this Ivy League College. But it is equally awesome for those who are just visiting as a supportive family member. The college is basically incorporated into the city of Hanover and they share a passion for the college experience. The restaurants and... More

It took me a few years to make the rounds, but after seeing all of them (and a lot of others) this is the best, imho. The campus is historic, scenic, and easy to navigate. Unlike some of the others connected to the local population, this town is exceptionally hospitable and completely safe. I also like the modest and nice... More

Campus is beautiful walk in the fall. Great engineering programs for future scientists and engineers. The price of tuition appears high, but I am told that scholarships are a plenty.

This is a wonderful town and campus to visit. Perfect time to go is during the Fall. Would bring a Frisbee to toss on the quad!

The college has grown enormously in the past fifty years. It is an attractive campus, with many fine architectural buildings. Strictly speaking, it really should be called a university with the following professional schools: Geisel Medical School (dating back to 1797), Thayer School of Engineering, and the Tuck School of Business Administration. In addition, there are master's and Ph.D. programs... More

Place is magical! You can explore campus and feel the academic energy. People are friendly and foot is exceptional. Walk thru historic buildings and go back to where it started! Amazing!

What a pleasant surprise on July 4. Hanover fire trucks offered lifts on their ladders (see photo). 4 at a time. The ladder goes up to 90 feet (no longer because it is difficult to drive anything longer through winding roads and hills). We visited the COOP (nothing purchased, branded t-shirts with logos cost too much). Walked along the main... More
