This place is not worth going to. The Pond is nasty. and I would avoid swimming there. The pool is not any better. It is way overcrowded,

We've been camping here for years. The staff are always nice and accommodating and the sites cleaned up from the previous campers. We love the little beach areas and how close it is to hiking and biking.

We love this place. It's picturesque, a small lake surrounded by forest. It has a beach, tennis courts, an outdoor pool ( costs extra) with an ice cream hut , paddle boards and canoes for rent as well as being a campsite with trails around the lake. Most of the time a lifeguard is on duty at the lake and... More

Pleasant little lake area. Very quiet even with families and kids running in and out of the water. There are tadpoles galore for the little ones to 'capture' and release. The sandy beach is wide enough for families not to feel intrusive. The lake is surrounded by a small forest that allows for some strolls. Nice place to spend a... More

Storrs Pond is a staple in Hanover. There is a great pond with swimming (lifeguard on duty most of the time), playground, paddleboards and canoes for rent, a heated pool, campground, tennis courts, hiking trails. It's very idyllic and scenic. There's also a snack bar and pavillions you can rent for events.

It's the local hangout with young kids. It's also safe for older kids to hang out there with their friends. The prices are pretty steep for what it offers. For example, shade and seating by the pool are limited and the 'heated' pool is only heated by the sun.
