Cold day in September. It was a nostalgic visit. Used to visit regularly when in high school 50 years ago. Beach appeared the same. Much more crowded a cross from beach, but a number of motels and activities remain. No one on beach today with a beautiful view without haze or fog which are common here. A worthwhile visit off... It was pretty scarce considering it was one of the first cool days. Which made it nice because there were less people around, nice to walk about and enjoy the breeze.

This was the first beach I went to in America and it was such a beautiful and wide open beach. The street along the beach is full of restaurants, food stands and merch shops. You can easily spend a whole day sunbathing, swimming and walking along the shops.

This is the place to go if you want a good old time amusement beach. Plenty of parking (paid), lots of shops, places to eat and miles of beach. The center of the beach has a great amphitheater where we've heard some fun music...probably the most memorable was the original Drifters singing "Under The Boardwalk". Cool. Look for special events... More

Every year in September the Seafood Festival takes over Hampton Beach Boulevard. Just got back from a great afternoon of fresh seafood, drinks and live music. The "pub" area on the beach was great with a live Reggae band, lots of people and plenty of drinks. Most of the boulevard stores were open and there were plenty of vendor tents... More

The beach itself is very nice and well maintained. The area immediately surrounding the beach, however, is an example of how lack of planning can affect a valuable attraction. The area immediately adjacent to the beach is a collection of tacky structures which are jammed together. If you are just interested in a nice beach and nothing else, you will... More

Saw the previous review and had to agree whole-heartedly. Visited Hampton Beach last week and saw some amazing women strutting their stuff. Worth the trip from Boston for sure. And by the way, the surf was also pretty nice as well.
