The Good: The trails and skiing are great! Easy access. Discounts for kids; teens; and seniors. The Bad: They absolutely rip you off in the price of food and drink. Coffee; $4; A piece of fruit; cold pre wrapped sandwich and hot chocolate; $16!!!! The Internet is slow and keeps going out! If you plan to drop your kid off... More

My daughter had a beginner ski lesson on a warm Saturday in January. The ticket and rental process went very smoothly. There was very little wait in the ticket office. The rental area is very well organized and there was also no wait. Her teacher was a nice young lady who was so kind. Her class lasted for 2 hours,... More

This a great local ski area with plenty of varied terrain. The view of the lakes region including Lake Winnipesaukee is fantastic on a clear day. It is easy to get to and has two nice lodges and other great facilities. Love coming to this area. One of my favorite ski areas and also has some great attractions for the... More

We were on a family trip with friends and our kids are 5 and younger, it was great for them. The small hill had a magic carpet for them which was perfect. And the adults enjoyed themselves. Negatives: while we were there inappropriate music played by the workers at the learner hill and the cafe is real expensive for what... More

Our family of 5 who usually skies out west (kids ages 8, 11, 13) skied 2 full days over MLK weekend. Saturday was great b/c it snowed 4 inches and was not that crowded for a holiday weekend. Lift tickets are expensive for the size of the mountain. There are mostly intermediate, groomed trails, not a whole lot of diverse... More

The local area has received little snow but Gunstock has been making it like crazy. I took my 8 year old nephew for a lesson and skiing. He has now gone twice. The rental experience was excellent. The snow was very good and runs in great shape. He loved his lesson and skiing. We went night skiing on his second... More

This was the second vacation we've taken here in the past 2 winters. The staff are REALLY friendly and the lift tickets are a fraction of the more popular NH ski areas. The trails are not that challenging, but more than enough to keep the kids happy and to keep your skills up.

Love this mountain. Family oriented and wonderful workers who make you smile. Recent upgrades to lodging and found Alex DeLuca to be a real gem!

We took an xc lesson from the Nordic center with our bubbly guide Jane. She was very patient and an excellent coach. She really went out of her way to explain the dos and don'ts of cross country skiing. After our lesson we decided to both purchase our own packages. Thanks to Kale for fitting and setting up our bindings... More

Good medium size mountain. Lines are usually smalle, then on Loon. I like its "blue" trails that are running from the very top: they are really not to easy and not to difficult and you can leisurely ride from top to bottom.
