It was a nice place to visit for an afternoon. The charge is $4 per person. The water was very cold but nice and refreshing.

The water may feel cool but is refreshing on a hot day. We snorkeled and swam and didn't want to get out of the water. We also rented a kayak and toured around the whole lake - had a great time.

Great place! It's not a big beach, they do have paddle boat rentals. Large parking lot and access road. Plenty of sun right off the highway

Beautiful views, small beach, coarse sand. Water is COLD. Great on hot days. Good spot to cool off with little ones.

We swam, fished, kayaked, picnicked, played football, floated in tubes, then hiked to the top of the mountain across the road. Beautiful very clean place.

Not worth a special detour to. We did a walk to Artist Bluff which is just over the road from Echo Lake and looks down on the Lake. It is very pretty and surround by autumnal trees in beautiful colors but the highways that are on 2 sides of the lake really detract from it. There are much nicer places... More

It was too cold to swim in October, but Echo Beach was still beautiful in October. The views with the fall foliage were stunning and it's a great photo-op!
