We've hiked them all and this one is always a nice 1/2 day trip. Easy climb for most, but gets a bit steep toward the top which can tucker you out. See hikers of all ages and health levels. The view is great and worth the hike and hanging out.

This, to me, is one of the most spectacular places in NH. Once at the peak of the mountain you can feel the energy from all the granite that surrounds you. Such a magical place. I love taking people up to the mountain top and have them walk the ridge and walk thru one of the paths to see the... More

This place is amazing. The day we visited was so clear, that we got amazing views. Once at the top, we hiked the summit for a bit, visited the observation tower and had lunch at the café. The Cuban sandwich is soooo good!!! Highly recommended!

We hiked up the mountain starting from the left side of all the buildings, accessible via the parking lot. I would qualify this climb as an overall very difficult climb due to the rocks and steep hill at the end. The views were amazing. There is a view point approximately 3/4 of the way up. You'll notice a well defined... More

We picked up the trail from the parking lot of the tramway. The entrance is to the left of the ski buildings down a maintenance road. It was far from being an "easy" hike. It is quite steep in a few places and very rocky towards the end. I would not recommend this trail if you do not have proper... More

My husband and took our 8 year old Granddaughter on a trip to NH. We spent two days in the Franconia area and this was one of the attractions we visited. We enjoyed the views on the tram up the mountain as well as the hike around the summit. There were several overlooks along the hike. Be sure to stand... More

Beautiful ride up the mountain on the chair lift. Had a drink at the top of the mountain which is the highest pub at this elevation View was just gorgeous. There is a couple small trails at the top you can walk and get even more beautiful views
