The cable car to the top of the mountain is great fun, especially considering how knowledgable the guides are. A fairly easy walk around the top of the mountain culminates in a staircase to the top of the observation tower, where, thanks to the superb mobile phone signal, you will be surrounded by teenagers on Facetime with their friends ("Hey,... We visited as part of a combo Flume Gorge entry. Suggest you go early to avoid the crowds that arrive later in the day. There's a short loop that ends with an easy stair climb to the top of an observation deck that offers expansive views. Definitely refreshing breeze on a hot day! One request for the visitors. Please, please,... More

Cable car will show you beautiful mountain views in 360. What was really breathtaking is the trail to the observation tower. Along this trail you would see some mountain scenery that will last forever in memories. Once on top of tower, it was very windy. But you will not believe how small we are compare to those mountains.

A wonderful way to see so much! The weather at the top was nice and cool. They tram ride was informative and so pretty. We did not see any wild animals but loved the scenery.

This mountain has something for everyone all year round. Excellent skiing in the winter, scenic hiking all year round, amazing views from the top to as far north as Vermont and Canada on a clear day. Take the tram ride and see the mountain from the top. There is a restaurant at the top and we have gone up in... More

First time taking the tram to the top of the mountain and I am glad I did. It was beautiful. Was a little disappointed that the windows on the tram were scratched and not clear. Had a great tour guide and it was a smooth ride to the top!

Can be enjoyed by all as the young and restless can enjoy a fantastic hike up a 4,000'er with exceptional views across the way. The older folks can enjoy a gondola ride up and a short walk to enjoy the same fantastic views as well. Bring trail mix and if lucky feed the grey jays right out of your hand.... More

Great Ski Area for the entire family! Peabody Slopes for everyone who is a good intermediate thru expert skier, Tuckerbrook area for beginners & those getting a bit better, and the Mittersill area for adventurous upper intermediates and experts looking for a more back-country adventure. Food is great at all places. Prices cannot be beat. Scenic beauty is the BEST!!... More

Just off I-93, Cannon Mountain is very convenient from the Boston area for day trips. I like the variety of expert trails, especially off the Zoomer Chair. Last year was great. Much of the top was closed this year due to lack of snow.
