We started at $200 per person in 1999 and we are still at that same low rate. Other balloon companies have raise their cost from $250 to $325 per person. We guarantee the lowest rate in New England at $200 per person. On average our rate is $50 to $100 per person less than our competitors. Our fare includes a post flight picnic and a champagne celebration, souvenir balloon cups and custom engraved first flight certificates after every flight. We meet for our flights every day 1/2 hour before sunrise. To see what time that is for you, please look at any sunrise calendar for the date you are interested in and subtract 1/2 hour. That is your meeting time. Flight times can vary but our goal is one hour in flight on every trip. Ultimately, landing options and wind speed determine the actual length of your flight. Most importantly, you will be flying with New England’s premier and only full-time balloon ride company. We have perfect safety record; full time staff working as our chase crew and offer amenities that are not supplied by any of our competitors. The enthusiasm of our pilot and staff and the professional manner they impart to every passenger will make your experience one to remember. Our equipment is the best available and maintained in pristine condition. We have the first basket ever built with a door for commercial use in the United Sates and the only one in service in New England. There is no need to climb up and over the edge of the basket to get on board. We simply open the door and invite you in. We tried for several yeas before going on our hot air balloon ride. I will say that out of the 3 companies we booked with, High 5 Ballooning was the best to deal with. I think the problem is in the nature of ballooning. As I mentioned we tried for years. We wanted to do a fall flight and we would book and inevitably our flight would get cancelled. Weather is very unpredictable and you would rather them be cautious about safety. Ultimately once we got to go up with High 5 Ballooning it was an amazing experience. I would suggest you go for it.

Prime time varies from year to year, but the first three weeks in October are usually the best. On the other hand, the beautiful crimson colored swamp maples and other wetland trees turn in late August or early September. We went up August 13th and a few were already turning colors.
