Swimming was great as the water comes from the mountains and is clean and cool. It's safe for the kids with 2 lifeguards and buoys that define a safe swimming area. For areas like this it has good parking, rest rooms and changing rooms.

I wanted to hike about 4 miles and was able to see both ledges and do so. The maps and mileage are readily available at the entrance or online in the summer. If you do the Bryce path to Cathedral ledge, add a summit to White Horse Ledge (not the whole loop) and double back then return around the lake,... More

A must see when traveling West Side Road, along with other natural attractions along this route. Great beach and picnic area. Don't forget your senior pass. If you do no have a senior pass, suggest getting one.

Having viewed Echo Lake from the top of Cathedral Ledge, we wanted to view the lake close-up. It was a short drive to the park, followed by a short walk to the clean, sandy beaches surrounding this pristine lake. We stayed long enough for a short stroll, but there were amenities for families to make a day at the lake.... More

This is an amazing little oasis - especially if you want a beach day with kids. They can swim and frolick a good distance from shore without it being over their heads. The view of the mountains is stunning. Water so clear it reflects the green of the trees and lovely sand beach. Good changing facilities and bathrooms as well.... More

We went on Saturday which was Memorial Day weekend. It was HOT and the water was already warm. Only four dollars per person to get in. Picnic tables and bathrooms available. The water was beautiful and the view of the mountains surrounding it is a wonderful thing! I can't wait to come back with family and enjoy it again!

My husband and I visited off season, but thought it was beautiful! We walked around for a bit and then he found a fishing spot while I sat and read. Very relaxing spot.

Great safe place to take the kids for a quick dip. You do have to pay for parking. It can get crowded, but the water is shallow and its easy to find a comfy place to sit. We also walked the loop around the pond, it was an easy family friendly stroll.
