Nice touristy town

We stopped here on our way back from visiting Mt. Washington. It's a very clean and quaint town with a lot of shops and stores mainly catering to the tourist crowd.

Folks, please learn to spell Kancamagus the right way. Check any New Hampshire map. OK, it gets misspelled and mispronounced a lot. But you are supposed to know better.

The Conway area has a lot to do for everyone. Scenic drives, great public parks and natural areas, Hikes, Shopping, Restaurants, Family activities, and much more. This is a great area to spend a few days, to a week or more, for a break from the busy life

The Kangamangus Highway is a scenic drive in/on the White Mountains of New Hampshire. I have driven along it in every season but winter, and each time, I am amazed at the awesome views of the mountains! It starts at a town called Conway, which is a resort town, best known for sking. There are shoppes and restaurants as well... More

North Conway and its surrounding towns offer some of the best hiking in the White Mountain National Forest. It also features some of the best rock climbing sites on the East Coast, its gem being Cathedral Ledge in Echo Lake State Park. The 500-foot (150 m) cliff overlooks Echo Lake and the village from the west. But unlike nearby White... More
