We didn’t feel welcome at the place at all. The lady and the man in charge were sort of rude without a hint of hospitality. There’s been a good debate on our disappointing way back about the possible reasons. One was the color of our skin other was possibly just good old (very) grumpy folks with bad education and social media poisoning or may be general frustration due to lack of help. Who knows.. anyway. The road to this place was filled with great fall colors and pretty idyllic little town setup. Also a lake nearby was beautiful AF with vivid colors in peak autumn. I will not go there again but if you are light skinned you can. They may not warm your donuts and cider. Orchard seemed pretty good and well maintained for the 20 mins we spent there. The photo I am attaching is not of the owners.

We had intended to pick some apples, but weather wasn’t to good & it was a little rainy & chilly. I asked if I could just go take some photos. It was no problem. So I did and wound us with fully wet shoes & socks 😆 After my husband and I came back in (I guess we could have picked our own) but wound up but a few from inside along with some other goodies. They have lots of other stuff inside besides apples. We enjoyed our stop and the apples too !! Oh the Apple Donuts are delicious as well !!

This was a great and fun experience for the family! The apples off the trees were amazing. The different kids of apples were sectioned off and into groups. Not only was there great apples but there was also a beautiful view. They also had blueberries, pie, jelly, and candy. I recommend this for a fun family experience.

This is a day that you will enjoy. I like going every year. The kids have fun. The donuts are great and the baked goods are very good. Apples, pumpkins and more to choose from. It's worth the time.

This place has it all. Hawk watching, a playground for the little ones, and you can pick the most delicious apples and pears when the season is right.

We went peach picking, we had to pay in advance and then discovered as we picked that the peaches weren't ripe. It would've been nice to have a heads up and we probably would have chosen not to pick anything...

I took my wife and my step duaghter here to pick apples for their first time. The ride to the orchard was amazing cause you keep going farther in the woods then you go up a hill. As soon as you come out of the woods, it is a beautiful view. You have a great variety of apples to pick.I would highly recommend bringing a camera. This is definitley a family adventure.

Manager yelled at us in front of my autistic child. Frightened her. Have been going there for years but will find another orchard. There are plenty in NH!

On the Concord / Canterbury line. Carter Hill orchard also raises and sells other vegetables at their farm stand. They have a good selection of apple varieties to pick or buy at the farm stand. Also sell home made pies and other local products. They also grow peaches. The trees cover a hill which can accessed via a tractor pulled wagon if the walk is a bit much. The also have picnic tables and a play area for children.

We stopped on the way to the hotel and fell in love with the donuts, cider and maple candy. We are stopping again in the morning!
