I was very surprised to see the simple burial place of the 14th President of the United States. The grounds is not what I expected from past visits to other Presidential resting places. The tomb is elegant and simple, with no fanfare other than a...More

If you're in town, this is worth a quick visit. Pierce is the only New Hampshire President, even if he was one of the least effective. in American history.

The cemetery has a plaque in the front for President Pierce but other than that the signs are minimal. It took a few minutes to find his grave. It is in the back to the right in a separately fenced in area.

I was directed to the cemetary by the docent at The Pierce Manse. It was a lucky coincidence that I crossed paths with a municiple employee working in the cemetary. He introduced himself and offered a mini tour of the cemetary highlights including a headstone...More

While in Concord yesterday my brother and I stopped to visit the final resting place of President Franklin Pierce. The grave in a gated section of Old North Cemetary. The grave is not grand but typical of a family plot. Worth the side trip.

The President Franklin Pierce Tomb is another Presidential Burial site. My sister and I love visiting the resting spots of dead presidents! This is one is easy to find. It is well kept. Stop by and experience history!

Little known President and an unimpressive tomb. Total waste of time unless you are on a quest to visit Presidential burial sites. If you a history buff, better to drive the 30 minutes to Hillsborough and visit the Pierce Homestead.

Sorry but I don't know. Might be best to Google it. It looked to be open almost anytime during daylight hours. It is a normal cemetery that just happens to have a presidents grave site and his family. You can drive up... More
