We love this place! It used to be $5 per car, and now it's $5 per person, but even then, it's worth it! Lots of room for the whole family .... picnic sites .... bathhouse .... clean swimming areas ... easy parking! Leave your pets at home and go for the day! It's wonderful!

Come here every year. Always clean beaches and everyone seems to enjoy themselves. Great place to swim picnic and enjoy the day and cool off

Tried to go July 3rd, and the parking lot was full, so we would have had to wait in a line for probably a few hours. The lake itself appears to be beautiful from the road.

Been going since I was a kid , on the fourth , my kids , now my grand kids . Only have one complaint , it's sad when tax payers of this state can't get into to celabrate with there family's . Cause it full , but yet the park is full of out of state people :(

We did some research and saw how beautiful Newfound Lake was- we love NH, so we thought this would be the perfect way to spend the 4th. We woke up at 6a and left Boston to get there by 9a, when the park opens (and thank goodness we did or we likely wouldn' t have gotten in-go early!)The lake is... More

We travel to NH from GA each summer and this is always on our list of things to do. Clean water, cute ducks, and a nice walk make for a fun day here.

Even though you have to pay to enter the park, it was well worth it. There is a wonderful hike that is kid friendly and pretty easy, all around the peninsula in the wooded area (wear bug spray) that goes along this crystal clear lake in several areas.

small but easy access beach facing north, perfect for cool summer breeze. Tree lined, plenty of amenities, and gentle natural walking path in woodsy area, in case swimming and sunbathing is not your all-day-long thing. In fact, across 3A from the main entrance is access to a hiking trail that can go on for as long as you like.

Newfound Lake is by far the cleanest lake I have ever seen! Absolutely gorgeous views, beautiful trails and all of the amenities you need at a State Park...picnic tables, clean bathrooms, grills etc. Best park to visit!

I have been to Wellington only in the 'Off Season", Lovely views, very nice little hike, picnic area and beach area are clean and well kept. There are amenities for beach season such as a snack bar, play ground, and bathroom. The outside of the buildings are well maintained-again I was there off season and it is lovely.
