Jenay at Lake Tahoe Yoga is a consummate professional. She truly embodies everything the practice of Yoga is. She is more than just a teacher or instructor, she is also a listener. She takes in everyone's unique levels and expectations into each class and then truly ensures everybody gets what they want out of it. Lake Tahoe Yoga is incredible. Highly recommended!

Thank you so very much for your glowing review! It is my pleasure to share the practice of Yoga with everyone. I think the biggest barrier to entry is the fear that you won’t know what to do. I am so glad that you felt comfortable asking for what you need. I look forward to sharing the practice with you again, soon!

Janea is such a talented and knowledgeable professional. I have taken classes at Lake Tahoe Yoga with both my older daughter and toddler son. She really offers something for everyone. My husband takes private sessions with her for severe lower back pain and this has helped him tremendously. Whether you are a beginner, or yoga enthusiast, this is your spot!

I did both the stand up paddle board and beach yoga offered at LTY. SUP: Jenay took the time to do a small instructional session on how to use a SUP and then ensured everyone’s comfort before heading out on the lake. Once we paddled out to the most beautiful and scenic area of the lake we did a full 60 minutes of yoga. Variations of all moves were offered. It was not only beautiful but relaxing and reenergizing. Beach: The beach yoga was on Nevada beach, and yet another beautiful view of the lake and mountains. This was a very relaxing session. Jenay took the time to talk us through moves, adjust us and reminded us to let go of the negative. This was the perfect session to end a long day and release stress and pressure. I highly recommend both sessions of yoga, and I’m sure any class you take at LTY will be worth your time and your body will thank you!

First, let me explain that I SUCK at yoga. Flexibility isn't my thing, BUT its good for my back illness which is Ankylosing Spondylitis. Doing things that challenge my athletic abilities is ALWAYS tough for me, but since my wife wanted me to do it ... we did. Luckily, Jenay the owner and one of the instructors was patient, positive, and overall a kick a** teacher helped me through my fumblings & grumblings. If you're ever in Tahoe and sore from a day of shredding or mountain biking then this is a GREAT way to get your body back to normal. If you're a local then this should be your "dojo" of yoga. Well worth it.
