Relax on the trolley and ride through the streets of Virginia City! The history and stories were fascinating, and the conductor was really enjoyable to listen to.

We really enjoyed this trolley tour. It's short--about 20 min.--but long enough to get an introduction to the town's layout and history. Our tour guide was great--an "old timer" who has been a Virginia City resident for decades. He was friendly and kind and his narration was informative and entertaining. A note to trolley management--thank you for making sure that the sound system provides a clean, undistorted and loud-enough delivery. That's not always the case on trolley tours.…

We wanted to ride the trolley but it was sold out because of limited seating for the safe spacing of riders. Be sure to purchase your tickets when you arrive in town and plan on having to wait for your time. But that gives you time to explore Virginia City first. We visited on a Saturday afternoon so give yourself time. Enjoy...…
