It would have been a good overall trip around town, but we were unable to hear a majority of what the driver was saying. There were only 6 people on the trolley and we were asked if we could hear before we left and were sitting still. As soon as we left the tractor pulling the trolley and road noise... More

Jack was a wonderful tour guide. We were early so he provided extra information before the tour. He pointed out a lot of places of interest with lively and entertaining background information as we approached each location. He has a great sense of humor and extensive knowledge of Virginia City. I highly recommend taking this tour before haphazardly doing a self-guided... More

Tour guide gave an entertaining and informative description of the town sights and by the time the tour finished we knew where we wanted to go back to and spend more time. If you want to get an understanding of this historic town then this is the tour to take.

Bill is an awesome tour guide! The tour was informative as we wove through the back streets of Virginia City. Bill talked nonstop and provided intimate details of life in town. We even found the wild horses! Great tour, highly recommended!

About a 20 minute tour of the city. The driver knows his stuff, and the audio is clear. You can get discount tickets at the visitor center, or pay cash (only?) after boarding.

My son and daughter in law were married at the St. Mary's in the Mountains Catholic Church and hired the Virginia City Trolley to carry their guests to Piper's Opera House where they held their reception. The driver was most accommodating helping all us ladies on and off the trolley. While we slowly made our way up the steep hills... More

A must when visiting Virginia City is the trolley tour, which goes through every street in tour where the driver will point out historic places and shops and restaurants worth exploring.

This was a cool tour on a warm day. Very informative with lots of tidbits of legend and lore. Well worth the time and for very little money. It cost less if you get your tickets at the visitors center.

This open-air trolley takes you around the town for about 20 minutes and gives a good overview of the area and it's history. It can be a little cool if the weather is cool or windy, but you can see what other sites in the town where you may want to spend some time.
