Harvey’s machines paid better than most, meaning we left with more than we came with! Very clean, and didn’t seem too smoky. Drink service was frequent and fast.

Restaurants closed, not enough tables and extremely crowded. Hotel rooms were very overpriced . Extremely small on the inside casino. Definitely not Vegas.

My wife and I decided to celebrate our 26th anniversary at Harveys Casino - Lake Tahoe. We have stayed at the majority of Caesar's properties in Las Vegas and wanted to enjoy the surroundings of Tahoe with Caesar's property standards. We'll we were in for a surprise. We arrived and pulled into the Diamond valet line. We had to wait 20 minutes for the van in front of us to unload which isn't a problem but we couldn't believe there was only one employee for the entire property helping guests.... The van pulled off and we waited another 10 minutes to be greeted. The employee asked if we needed help with our bags and we said no, just valet please. He then informed us that valet service was not and has not been available for some time. Then why not cover the signs or put one out that states that? He informed us that we had to park in the garage....Ok no problems. We proceeded to the garage and attempted to access the Diamond parking area through a card reader. My players' card was not working. There was now a line of 3 deep behind me. One exited his car and tried his card....No luck. The next guy, same result. So now we had to coordinate backing out of the tight entrance to find parking. We finally parked and dragged our luggage across the parking garage, through the casino, and down to the front desk. We waited in line for about half an hour until our turn came up. There were only two in front of us, not sure why it took so long. The employee at the front desk greeted us with YES...not hello, not welcome, but Yes. Hmmmm... I stated we were checking in and she said ID and credit card. Ok.. I went to hand her my ID and she stated to put it down on the counter. I understand the time we are in so I complied. She looked down and said Fix It. I looked down to see what she meant. I guess when I put it down I didn't put it exactly straight, it was a little crooked. My wife looked at her and said WOW. She asked if we had been there recently and I said we had never been to this property. I thought she was going to explain what the property had to offer, directions to the elevators, promotions....something. Nope...she handed me a piece of paper with rules and expectations. I guess I'll find the elevator. When we arrived in our room, which we'll admit was pleasant and clean, I called the Sage Steakhouse to verify our anniversary reservations. They stated we were not on their list but worked with us to get us reserved at 9pm...3 hours later than our original reservations. The dinner was good and the bed was comfortable. Unfortunately, the first first few hours convinced us to check-out a day early. That day was going to be our gambling day...What a shame.
