Excellent casino and employees. You never go to a casino expecting to win but this time I hit many hand pays in the high limit area. Can't wait to return. The casino was packed on the weekend. It was the July 4th holiday so could have been for that reason and the upcoming golf tournament.

My review of the casino is being done separately from the room and hotel. The casino was busy, busy, busy on Friday, July 3rd. One would have thought it was Spring Break. Face masks were 100% enforced. The cocktail waitresses were great when one was around otherwise around 4 a.m. to 7 a.m. good luck getting anything. I asked a "suit" Mr. Joseph who was kind enough to go and FIND a cocktail waitress and tell her my order which then promptly came. Thank you Mr. Joseph. I got 129 free games with a x 3 multiplier on The Anniversary Edition Buffalo and the results was so disappointing. It's gambling I know but casinos are TIGHT after being shut down for such a long time.

The casino itself is nice and they had a good variety of table games: Blackjack, Pai Gow, Craps, Roulette, 3 Card Poker, High Card Flush, and Ultimate Texas Hold Em. They also had bubble craps and roulette, which were computerized. They did not have Mississippi Stud Poker anywhere in Tahoe. The table minimums were ridiculous. Blackjack was $15 and Craps was $25 and this was on weekday mornings when the casino was dead! Only the poker style games got as low as $10. Roulette got down to a $5 minimum, but the rules were weird. You couldn’t bet $5 in $1 chips on numbers, you had to be $5 on numbers. The outside bets like even and odd were $25 minimums. All but 1-2 Blackjack games were 6:5, which made it even worse. Needless to say they need to improve in this area and it makes me hesitant on returning to play here. One positive was the drinks were free and cocktail servers were pretty quick. They had Maker’s Mark and Bulliet as well as some higher end vodkas. This was better than Hard Rock, which could only serve Jim and Jack.

Playing craps was incredibly difficult to enjoy and have fun. Payouts were slow, confusing, and sometimes switched up. Payouts between rounds also took an exceedingly long amount of time to complete, slowing the entire operation repeatedly. The entire operation just seemed uncoordinated and done with little concern for the overall customer experience.
Furthermore, the min bet $25 was far higher than surrounding casinos (10-15) and when implemented caused the table to empty out and essentially killed the overall experience.

We took a last minute birthday trip. We stayed in what was supposed to be the executive suites. The windows were duct taped shut. The furniture was falling apart and in one room the drawer fell on my daughter's foot. The Ceiling was cracked and peeling. the wall paper was peeling. They did do a pretty good job at keeping people moving and making sure masks were worn. Carpets in the hallways needed a good cleaning as well. They could at least give the rooms a quick wipedown The amount of dust in the rooms was pretty bad. Oh and the thermostat was broken in one room as well.. When I went to report a lost watch at lost and found the security guard was not happy that I asked to leave my name and number incase it was turned in. Dinner at the Friday Station and Sage room were excellent.

Overall the casino is large. There were many tables and lots of options. Plenty of slots. They place 1C machines right next to $1 machines to be careful. Overall this place was TIGHT. I think my biggest win was like $0.12 on a dollar machine!!

So we went to Harrah's Casino and were turned away from the craps table with no one there. We were told to back away when we were about to put up our money to play. Then the staff says this table has $100 minimum bets. He just assumed we couldn't afford the table...really why because we were black. Ha!! He just turned away 2 players from the NBA and their wives one of who's celebrating her birthday...smh we will spend our money elsewhere. Thanks Harrah's we will never bet here again in your empty casino....

I know they’re owned by the same company, but the difference this trip was quite noticeable. Harrahs’s had little to non-existent drink service, and the machines flat out didn’t pay. There was also a power outage for 16 hours, and it took quite a while to get the machines online after that.
I’m diamond, and I never saw a host in the five days we were there. Laurel Lounge also closed.
I have felt appreciated for losing my money in other casinos, but not this trip.

This hotel really has a “white trash” feel. We had a room with a view of the parking garage and Harvey’s garage as well I stead of the lake. Definitely not like the upscale casinos in Vegas. The furniture in the Rooms was really beat up. There was a “vomit” smell in the elevator shaft and casino for 2 days. Yes there are 2 bathrooms but the small fiberglass shower had very little pressure or hot water, even after they came and changed our shower head because it was spraying all over the bathroom. I guess you get what you paid for.

Delicious onion soup, cream of turkey too. Hot wings and perhaps meatballs. Vegetable and fruit salads, chips, dips, crackers, nuts, cocktails galore. It's a quaint little place - but it's a challenge to find. Go to the back of the high limit room to find it.

What are the table limits

Poker is 1-2 and 2-5. Roulette is max of 500. Blackjack is 5-2000, depends on table. There is a High Limit area where I saw a Max of $10,000. It's a nice casino, but rooms are outrageous on price!

It depends what your looking for. Tahoe is set in beautiful area. Total different ambience then Reno. Reno is cheaper for most everything and many people love it but not near as nice as Tahoe. Everyone is different. Depends what your looking for.
