This escape room was amazing! Very magical, fun, interactive and engaging! Played several rooms and was given a great discount to play multiple escape rooms. Not only are the escape rooms awesome, but they have axe throwing as well!! Although axe throwing can be tough at first, it is very satisfying when you get it to stick. The owners are amazingly kind and fun, PLUS the staff is very helpful and hardworking. The owners have several locations for their locations and are very hardworking people. 10/10 would recommend to anybody I knew. The escape rooms and axe throwing are great activities for all kind of groups, big groups, small groups or even just an evening date for two. The prices are very reasonable and you can expect a good time!

Absolutley awesome! First escape room any of us had done before. 5 of us ranging from 12 yrs to 45 yrs old. Every person was key in solving the puzzle. A great was to work on team skills and exercise your mind. You're monitored by the game keeper the whole time so if someone absolutley cannot continue they are able to get out immediately. You can also ask for clues if you're stuck. We all came out raving about how fun the experience was. Now to try another one...

Our group of 11 had a fun time. We booked two separate rooms - Comic Shock and Chain Reaction. These two rooms were located in separate locations within the shopping center and it was very inconvenient to not be able to pay for everyone at one location. I would suggest having the ability to pay for all attendees at one location.

While previous experiences at the Summit Mall escape room were good, this location in Sparks has definite challenges for older (50-60's), hearing loss people. First, we weren't told that there are two locations at this Sparks mall. After having some car door issues, then going to the wrong location, we lost a big amount of our time scheduled. Then, while explaining the rules and story, the young girl spoke very fast, through a mask, in a room with extremely high ceilings so her voice was echoing and none of our party (7 people) could understand what she was saying. When we told her, she took us inside to a lower ceiling area, but still spoke extremely fast, even when asked to please slow down a bit more and enunciate. We were a group of people in our 50's and 60's and two wearing hearing aids. It was frustrating. Then, once in the room, they use baby monitors to speak to you when you need a clue. Of course the baby monitor speakers have very distorted sound, and again we had a most difficult time understanding what was said, and the girl just couldn't seem to slow her speech and enunciate when asked. While this has been an issue at previous visits to the Summit location (baby monitors for speakers), it wasn't as bad as this location and the group was frustrated. I would say that this would be fine for those who have stellar hearing, but wouldn't recommend for the 50's and over crowd, unless they upgrade their speaker system and train their team members to speak a bit more slowly and clearly, ESPECIALLY during mandatory mask requirements. Its too bad because I do think it is a fun activity and something different to challenge your thinking skills.

We actually enjoyed the challenge, but after 1 hour and $100 we felt very let down. It was $25 per person regardless of age. Our 6 and 10 year olds came with us with no discount. The owner's should consider a max room price or discounted/free children's pricing with adult purchase to incentivize repeat visits. It seems like something I would like to do often but because of the price it is not affordable at all for a family activity.

With 6 people we did the new room Calle twisted treatment. The puzzle was said to be difficult, really it had no flow and the answers didn't jive with the story line. Our experience with rooms is many and all upon completion before time is up, and sometimes with the help of clues. When we asked for clues several times in this room the person did not answer several times as we tried to contact them with no avail we gave up and kept trying. The person took longer than expected to contact several times for clues. We did finish with a few minutes left, but all of us left feeling very frustrated. Mostly because our guide that night was very unresponsive after several times trying to contact them for clues. Disappointed.

We played the Tahoe 64 room with two people. Despite being warned by others that the Key & Code experience was inferior to other options, I still gave them a try.

1) The puzzles themselves need better continuity and a logical connection to make. Often the leap in logic required is not easily intuited from the clues and room. This could easily be solved by placing some symbols on items that go together to solve particular puzzles. Once finally asking for a clue, it was almost never an answer that made you think “oh, duh.” It was more “WTH?!”
2) Several of the locks and codes in the room didn’t work properly. After determining the right code by solving the puzzle, we tried the lock or the tap device but it didn’t work properly. This caused us to lose time and get frustrated with the fun of the experience.

3) The room seemed like an endless string of puzzles. It is no wonder to me that the completion rate on many of their rooms is so low (36% for this room). How can you expect people to solve so many loosely connected puzzles in one hour?

4) The attendant was listening in the whole time while we had a bad experience. After I had to specifically ask why the lock wouldn’t open, she came in and wrestled with it until it opened. She added “some extra time.” I nearly left the room 20 minutes in because I was so frustrated with the experience. I was audibly expressing my displeasure and it was never directly addressed by the employee. It’s like a waiter watching you spit your food out and not even addressing it. Allowing a customer who is dissatisfied to walk out is ill—advised.

I sadly will not play a room there again or recommend it to others because it was not enjoyable.

My only Complain is that the room wasn’t Reset and The hidden door was unlocked it needed to be. It killed the experience Since one of the workers had to come into the room and try to reset the room and was not Successful so the kids keep asking if it time to go throw the Hidden door she did give us a little more time to make up for the inconvenience.
This was my 11-year-old’s birthday party too

Brought five kids here for my daughter's birthday. I did not participate, so this is going off of what the kids told me afterwards. They did Dr. Ensaine - said the room was really cool and well put together. It was definitely fun and challenging. The only problem was their time was cut short. They had not escaped, but the attendant came in and told them their time was up. When they got their phones out of the locker, they realized they still had 10-15 minutes left of the hour. Kids being kids, they did not say anything and only told me once we were in the car. If you go, just keep an eye on the clock and make sure you get your money's worth.

Three adults and one child couldn't get through half the room. It wasnt designed for multiple folks, each step was a single step so there was a significant amount of standing around. The kid was extremely frustrated he wasn't able to contribute.
