I have been going to the NCAR for the last thirty years. It started as a birthday gift from my wife. After the very first time through the gate I knew I was hooked. If you are into aviation, this is one of your mecca's. One of the places you "must see", at least once in your life. A bucket list item, the Races is the other.

If you like airplanes this is the place to go. Stunts shows, fast planes, breathtaking event. You can walk through an area where they have military planes that you can walk through, wonderful food, vendors and merchandise.

We have attended the National Championship Air Races for many years. Each year the organization, displays and atmosphere improves. Baring occasional tragic events, the Event is a spectacle for all air enthusiasts. Going on Friday gets you the full experience without the crowds.
