I played this course for 9 holes and had a good round. Actually parred 4 holes(!) for me which is GOOD!. Its a great layout with some good challenges. A very amazing course, especially for the price!. The views are truly amazing and the course is in great shape. I really enjoyed playing here and will be back if we... More

Hi gang, Whilst in sunny Reno I searched for a new place to play. For years I've been avoiding playing Sierra Sage based on verbal opinions and reviews found on Trip advisor. I decided to give it a go. $34 for a Sr ($24+14 cart) a good price. The new owners have restored the greens, got the fairways in great... More

Second time playing golf. I rented clubs, which were excellent. The staff went out of their way to find me a left putter to go with the righty clubs. I know unusual. The course is not beautiful. There is sage brush everywhere, but the jack rabbit sightings were a plus. A nice variety with the holes, according to the veteran... More

Called New Years Day to reserve a tee time. Was told by an individual in the pro shop that the course was open but had about a 45 minute delay but to come for our scheduled tee time because they were making up the time. Arrived and the course was closed (gates locked) and had been closed all day. Not... More

Personalized Experience: I golf all around the world and most of the golf courses it seems like your just a face. However with Sierra Sage they're not only knowledgeable, but also they go out of there way to please. I had forgotten that I ended my season there around September 2013 and the golf pro had noticed my grips were... More

I first played this course four or five years ago and it was so bad I never went back until last fall. At that time the fairways had many bald areas and were concrete hard. Since then it's changed management and they have done an incredible job of turning the course around. I found the greens to be in great... More

We figured golf in a tourist area would be pretty good. Our first clue as to the condition of the course was when we arrived at the first tee to burned out areas and that's exactly how all the greens were on this course. The greens were among the worst of any we've played in recent memory, although the golf... More

The course has been upgraded, reasonable rates and true greens, what more could you ask for. This is a major turn around story when when it was County owned a few years ago. Great place to play and not blow the budget.
