Go somewhere else!

The casino is just not fun. There are table games that all had minimums of 25 dollars.
With the exception of one blackjack table that had a 100 dollar minimum.
Crazy!
My wife tells me any machine she likes is almost always gone the next time we ate there.

Declining Casino
Apr 2021
Well it's become pretty dull here with the general decline in gaming in Reno coupled with Covid. Just a few tables open, sometimes only one. And the dealers have little energy. Just OK. Low level of smoke, which is good.

What is that smell?
Apr 2021
I am sure it is something they are using in the ventilation system to combat the cigarette smell, but it was an awful cloying scent that I couldn't shake. I kept smelling it hours after I left the casino. I had to shower and throw my clothes into the laundry.

Casino was very nice, Payout were good, didn't spend much to win a little. We will return back here after the pandemic is over.

Mini vacay 2020

We enjoyed the cafe restaurant downstairs !! The food was delicious. The hotel itself was ok. Nothing really special about it. The room wasn’t spacious and there was no fridge or microwave. It was ok could be better but it wasn’t.

Room was dirty dirty. They had housekeeping come and check room. There was hair on floor of bathroom a lot if it. The housekeeper said she knew it. But she replied. “ I couldn’t get it up” the floors were dirty too. She stated”maybe this vacuum goes to garbage”

Bad marketing dept. Find another casino.
I've been playing at the ERI properties which consists of the Silver Legacy, Eldorado and Circus Circus casinos since 2001. In 2018, I began playing a promo at the Silver Legacy called Legacy Lotto. A player would pick 6 numbers and if they matched all 6, they would receive 75% of a progressive jackpot in cash and the remaining 25% would be split amongst all qualified players in free play. I noticed some players were using multiple cards so when the jackpot hit, anyone that was a qualified player would receive a smaller portion of the 25% payout. I brought this to David Fox's attention who is the Director of Slot Marketing and he said, "Do you know how much these guys lose?" Now I don't care how much someone is losing and that's not a proper response, so I began documenting in 2018, 2019 and 2020 his negligence at providing a fair game in the Legacy Lotto.
Now the players card levels ranked from highest to lowest are Chairman, President, Gold, Silver and Bronze. In 2018, I was at the President level but my card was dropped to Gold in December 2018 even though I had President level points. I went to Fox's office where he informed me that management reserves all rights. I remained with that Gold card for all of 2019.
In January 2020, with more than enough points for President, the Silver Legacy drops me to Silver and a week later dropped me to their lowest level which is Bronze. The minimum requirement to be President is 15,000 points and in the attached photos you will see I had over 22,000 points.
August 2020, I'm playing at a slot machine and security approached me and was told that David Fox is having me 86'd for being an advantage player. I knew Fox would pull this move eventually so I requested a win loss statement from the Legacy for 2019. Yeah, I LOST over $3,700. Doesn't seem like much of an advantage to me.
So if you've made it this far, hey thanks for reading and I'll leave you with this. There are many choices where you can spend your hard earned money and if you've never visited a casino in Reno-Sparks, Skip the Silver Legacy, Eldorado and Circus Circus.

Old Reno Style and Charm
Aug 2020 • Couples
We just returned from a long weekend and we stayed Downtown Reno! I feel that downtown is starting revitalization and we were there in the beginning stages of it! Hotel was super nice! Parking easy, safe and free! Room was comfortable and recently updated! Hotel staff were super friendly and helpful! I feel
Like old Reno charm and style is alive at Silver Legacy! We walked outside to local restaurants, bars and shops! But we also ate inside the casino too! Can’t wait to return for another weekend getaway!

Locals casino

We enjoyed that they had several table game offerings including craps, and there was a heavy emphasis on use of sanitizer! Not so thrilled about the 4 to a side allowance on craps, preferring 3. Hard to get to know dealers with the masks, etc., some seemed nice. Definitely a local feel to the place especially these days, there was even a fight broken up by an elderly lady pit boss, you had to be there! Variety of games and table minimums.
