    Clean Safe and Not Crowded
It's a huge space with lots of tables, but very few are open. The rest are permanently closed. Lots and lots of slots, but just a few players. This is a huge casino that was built for another time when there were a lot of gamblers, but now the crowds are sparse. Still very clean and safe.

    Where are the Players?
The staff are professional. The place looks good and has all the games you might want. But where are the players? It was almost empty, sometimes not a single person at the tables. The business has migrated elsewhere and the management needs to do something to attract customers.

Fine place to lay your head.
I enjoy staying here on the upper levels, with bigger tvs and no noise. Very quiet in the room. Employees are very friendly and I feel very safe here staying as a single woman. I simply remain inside once it starts to get dark. Had fun at the casino, but I sure did not win any $$$$. Maybe tomorrow?

    Gotten very smoky
We've been here several times and this has been our go to spot. The casino over the years has gone downhill a bit. Mostly due to the level of smoke. I only played for an hour or so and had to leave and get fresh air. I was there in the morning even without a lot of people there. Even the restaurants are permeated with smoke. Makes it less enjoyable. I get that this is a casino but there is no where to gamble that is smoke free. So if you are sensitive to smoke I would suggest playing elsewhere.

They over booked for 28th of February, we made reservations prior to, and called befor 12:00 midnight to confirm our reservation. When we got her they were very not helpful at all. The servers in the casino were asking for tips. I want to acknowledge Mrs. Lolita n all the housekeeping staff for all there hard work.

I've been playing at the ERI properties which consists of the Silver Legacy, Eldorado and Circus Circus casinos since 2001. In 2018, I began playing a promo at the Silver Legacy called Legacy Lotto. A player would pick 6 numbers and if they matched all 6, they would receive 75% of a progressive jackpot in cash and the remaining 25% would be split amongst all qualified players in free play. I noticed some players were using multiple cards so when the jackpot hit, anyone that was a qualified player would receive a smaller portion of the 25% payout. I brought this to David Fox's attention who is the Director of Slot Marketing and he said, "Do you know how much these guys lose?" Now I don't care how much someone is losing and that's not a proper response, so I began documenting in 2018, 2019 and 2020 his negligence at providing a fair game in the Legacy Lotto.
Now the players card levels ranked from highest to lowest are Chairman, President, Gold, Silver and Bronze. In 2018, I was at the President level but my card was dropped to Gold in December 2018 even though I had President level points. I went to Fox's office where he informed me that management reserves all rights. I remained with that Gold card for all of 2019.
In January 2020, with more than enough points for President, the Silver Legacy drops me to Silver and a week later dropped me to their lowest level which is Bronze. The minimum requirement to be President is 15,000 points and in the attached photos you will see I had over 22,000 points.
August 2020, I'm playing at a slot machine and security approached me and was told that David Fox is having me 86'd for being an advantage player. I knew Fox would pull this move eventually so I requested a win loss statement from the Legacy for 2019. Yeah, I LOST over $3,700. Doesn't seem like much of an advantage to me.
So if you've made it this far, hey thanks for reading and I'll leave you with this. There are many choices where you can spend your hard earned money and if you've never visited a casino in Reno-Sparks, Skip the Silver Legacy, Eldorado and Circus Circus.

The casino is just not fun. There are table games that all had minimums of 25 dollars.
With the exception of one blackjack table that had a 100 dollar minimum.
Crazy!
My wife tells me any machine she likes is almost always gone the next time we ate there.

Horrible. Their maintenance man doesnt check the machines when a couple of my familes won. He just basically hit cashout and told us that we spent it. He did not even check the machine history like he should (even the newer machines should have a history tracker.)

Also since i was here durig a concert a couple of other people told me that they won big but what happen is the casino dealer said " I don't know if they win and I only know the basics" and she basically took all the cards and shove them under the the deck and quickly switch the sign, then when we got the manager the manager had the video checked and told them that they did win but the video did not capture the "Sign" The woman did not wanted them to win. This also happen to my mother who told me she won 5000 according to the bonuses.

Its pretty messed up that a well populated casino like this one would commit such scams to their gamblers.

Be careful when you stay at a hotel, always lock your doors. I stayed at Silver Legacy on July 1st, my wife and 10yr old son was in the room when somebody walked in and back out. When I went to thw manager Clinton Wetherbee and told him about it , he just said we are aware of the situation we are handling it , what we did was assign your room to somebody else and gave them keys. No apologies just we are handling it and acn just make you new room keys rather than move me to another room. Bad service

Love the atmosphere and slots are fun. Duel level gaming and not too crowded. It’s located between El Dorado and Circus Circus so it’s easy for a big group to find what they like. Service was great.

The rooms, service and environment at Silver Legacy were clean, professional and interesting. I particularly loved that I could walk anywhere I’d like to see the River Walk, other casinos, restaurants and things of interest. The surroundings felt safe, and I knew that people were having a good time with their families, too, in nearby Circus Circus. Will go back!

Among all the casinos downtown, I feel most safe here. It is also almost smoke-free and very clean. The table game experience is pleasant enough, but I do wish they had a more generous comp system. Still one of my favorite places to play.
