The Richest Rodeo in the West! The Reno Rodeo has been a tradition for over 30 years and it's a fun, family-friendly experience. I'm partial to bareback and bull riding, but there's a little bit of everything here. Tickets are cheap but parking is a pain. The Livestock Event Center parking is an extra $10 and the lots fill up... More

We went to the Reno Rodeo parade Saturday morning and the rodeo. We thought this year's rodeo was very good. The animals were so beautiful. They had a wide variety of events. There was bull riding, barrel racing, cattle tying, rodeo clown shows, bronco riding, sheep riding (by children), and more. There were beautiful displays of horses (and young baby... More

This rodeo is O/K, but not great. Other rodeos are much better - such as Cheyenne Frontier Days, Ft. Worth Rodeo, Denver, Houston. The traffic and parking at this rodeo is absolutely awful.

Took my grandfather (an 89 year old honest to goodness cow man who knows every damn trail in the sierras) and we had a wonderful time. Very impressive local talent, beautiful and well cared for stock, and lovely warm weather. Awesome rodeo!

We have been going to the Reno Rodeo for 20 years. They provide excellant entertainment with the best cowboys in the world. No joke. They belong to the Professional Rodeo Cowboy's Association and they are the best in the world!! We always see the best and see them again at the National Finals Rodeo in Las Vegas. If you are... We had a wonderful evening watching the Reno Rodeo. The little kids that rode the sheep bare back were hysterical...and the gals that did the barrel racing was lots of fun. The bronc riders are most amazing and from our seats (bought at the event) we saw everything. Be careful where you sit as the early evening sun and wind... More

Anyone visiting the Reno-Tahoe area the last two weeks in June each year should take time to visit the Rodeo Fair Grounds and attend one (or more) of the rodeo performances. This fourth largest rodeo in the U.S. is billed as the Wildest, Richest Rodeo in the West but it could also be billed with many other superlatives. Yes, there... More

Once again I remember the reason why I like rodeo. It is a trip back to our western roots when cattle was king and the US was still young and the Reno Rodeo delivers. The talent is excellent and the organizers do a great job of putting it on. There is a carny for the young, and the young at... More
