Well it's been converted to a bocce ball court. Which is pretty cool, but in Covid days nothing was open. Lots of very good art all around, a nice added feature.

Not sure why the listing still refers to a casino, but the hotel is great. They are in the process of renovations right now, although I'm not sure what they're going to do with the ground floor. In any case, we were not disturbed in the slightest by the on-going work. The manager Theresa was a great help, working to resolve some last-minute glitches that were not the hotel's fault, and even organizing breakfast for our tour group the two days that we were there. The rest of the staff were also accommodating and helpful whenever anything came up. Nice location, within walking distance of Reno's main attractions, with some nice views of the Truckee River.

This hotel's customer service was great! This hotel accepts pets, and I am highly allergic to pet dander. After making the reservation on the web, we called and asked for a non-pet room. The man at the front desk said that he would "make a note of it." Upon arrival, while checking in the man at the front desk said that he got our non-pet request and had given us a complimentary upgrade on our room. We were pleasantly surprised by this! We enjoyed our 1 night stay.

New Year's Eve in Reno this year was freezing. We were fortunate enough to get an invitation to the VIP party along with a room for the celebration. My husband who is normally a pretty gentle soul, decided to party like it was 1979. He was in his 30's back then. Unfortunately it is 2015 and he is in his 60;s. So imagine. Freed from having to be the designated driver, hubster went to town! I will spare you the dignity depleting details, but suffice to say, that Security swooped in and saved the night. And, the marriage! My dear husband was treated with kid gloves. Granted, he wasn't a combative drunk, but he was wasted. And, he is not a tiny tot either. They got him to our hotel room and on the bed. They offered everything from medical attention, to wellness checks to reassurances. As I prayed for a big hole to open and swallow me as I kept apologizing, they responded with, "That's why we're here." I could have cried. Seriously, these gentlemen could not have been more professional, efficient and compassionate. I know casino security gets a bum rap sometimes, but these men deserve all the praise I could heap upon them. They could train others on how to handle situations like this. THANK YOU SIENA SECURITY TEAM. Oh, and my husband, he is currently on an apology tour.

Used Groupon which included a $10 resort gaming card. Didn't receive the card at check in.. The front desk needed to call a manager... They took so long that I left and they had to slip it under my door.. Got charged for food charges that aren't mine.. Took 3 days, several calls and finally I had to drive all the way back to reno &still not settled. You don't want to have to do this .. So I advise you not to stay here.

Every time I step into this casino, I find it almost empty. This poor place can't seem to get off the ground. The space is nothing special, just about the same casino design you find elsewhere. Maybe the location is no attractive? It does not seem to be working.

This hotel, while sounding like an upscale spa/casino is actually an old holiday inn. You will notice the ubiquitous architecture despite efforts to spruce it up. The interior is definitely better than a Holiday Inn and the staff is very friendly and helpful. The rooms lack some basic amenities and our bathroom was in dire need of an upgrade. The hotel is located near the casinos and some revitalizing areas but feels stuck off to the side.
Overall there was nothing really off putting about the hotel but the advertising suggested a far more luxurious place than actually exists!!

We spent only one night there, it was a stop before moving on, in our opinion it was over priced for what we got. Rooms are updated but the bathrooms are tight you have to close the bathroom door to get into the shower or to use the toilet. The hotel has a great dome feature very eye pleasing from the outside but from our room we could only see the back side of the dome. Very small room. Casio was smaller, lounge singer was great.

What a beautiful Casino. Had the door opened for us when we arrived. Everyone was very friendly. The room was very nice. Overlooking the City of Reno and the Truckee River. The decor was very pleasant. The Waterfront Grill has awesome ahi tacos. Can't wait to go back. The atmosphere of a smaller casino is truly a much better experience than big boys. Nick z Minden Nv
