A few days ago we attended this marvelous place for the Reno Philharmonic Concert. It was magnificent. The entire orchestra was in perfect harmony, and the music conductor was a genius! She is a wonderful leader, and a great public speaker. The acoustics in the building are in perfect pitch with each other. The only problem was the usher who... More

I have seen several shows at this venue. A small enough theater so that there really isn't a bad seat. Good location, adequate parking. I really enjoy going here and watching the off broadway type shows.

I've been at many performance halls in the world and it is very surprising how good this Pioneer Center is for sound and easiness. I've seen several performances and concerts there and it has been a wonderful experience every time. It has a pleasant size. I've sat in all areas and I've likes every seat I've had which is surprising.... More

I've only seen performances in the down stairs area. Beverage service and selection are a disappointment. Too spendy for the tiny glass.

A very intimate but comfortable venue for concerts and other stage productions. We enjoyed a wonderful concert by the Reno Jr. Philharmonic. The acoustics were perfect and the seating was very comfortable

Beautiful but it has dreadful acoustics unless you are lucky enough to be in one of the few areas where you can hear everything. When the place was built, the must have hired an architect that knew about beauty but not acoustics. I don't go there much anymore because I am usually disappointed.

Beautiful theater, great staff and experience. I saw Blue Man Group when they came into town in September of 2014. Everyone is friendly, we were seated very quickly, and we had a positive experience. Clean bathrooms too! I always look forward to my trips to the Pioneer.

I have seen several shows here the last couple years and love the venue. It is large but the auditorium is designed great so there really are no bad seats. Good visibility and comfortable chairs.

Always the best place to take friends who love to see the Nutcracker during the holidays. Easy parking and surrounded by good places to eat.

Hey, this is Reno but this venue is top notch. We've seen many performances there - from small-group concerts to the fabulous Christmas extravaganza to former Broadway shows. It's totally professional, excellent acoustics and they get some world-class talent. It's usually a decent value and with free nigh time parking across the street it's very convenient.
