First time at the Reno event center and was surprised how small it was. When we bought our tickets for Casting Crowns the internet map made it look a lot bigger than it was. It actually was a great venue for the concert. I don't...More

Looks like an average arena for a small city. They had it set up as a kind of flea market / shopping venue during HAN. Was clean and up to date

We have been here to see concerts and basketball games. It is clean and adequate for these functions. Close to downtown Reno, i.e. walking distance.

Big & Rich - Reno Events Center (2 Replies)
I am looking for one ticket for Big & Rich at the Reno Events Center on 2/21. Having never been to Reno, I'm wondering if I will be able to buy a ticket on the street before the show or if local law enforcement cracks down hard on that. If ticket reselling is fairly common outside the Events Center, can anyone tell me if there is a popular area for this? Also, if anyone has a single ticket they are looking to get rid of, please send me a message and let me know. Thanks!

There are a few people selling tickets outisde. Generally they are people who got free tickets and are trying to make a dollar or two. There are only 2 entrances I think the few times I have seen a show there people who were selling tickets were between the Silver Legacy and the REC, about 1/4 of a block area. The problem might be only needing one ticket, as if they have a pair they need to find another single to sell a ticket too.
