Decent Casino & Hotel one block from the Silver Legacy Hotel & Casino or the El Dorado Hotel & Casino

The hotel rooms were nicer than I expected. The Sands Regency in a nice small, cozy club with a 24 hour "Mels Diner". There are great food prices in their restaurant & buffet. I would stay there again in the future. I wasn't happy about the Sands trying to charge me a "Resort Fee". To me a "Resort Fee" of... More

Love the city but staying at the sands casino was a big mistake. There was construction in the rooms right above us and we could hear every thing going on in the hallway and the room next to us.

Not nearly as nice as other downtown Casinos, but we went and the staff was friendly. We had a nice time playing slots and cards. Mother had played days before and had some Buffett credits so we stayed. Not a Buffett you'd consider good, but on thursdays and Friday's they have steak and shrimp and the steaks were actual real... Beds are not comfortable and really didn't feel safe staying there (sketchy characters roaming throughout). Stale smell in the hallways and furniture in our room was in poor repair. Will not stay there again.

We didn't have a lot of time but needed a lunch very fast. So decided to stop at the Sands Casino. The employees were very kind and attentive and explained our options. There is funny smell inside as almost in any casino. We had a typical American lunch in the 50th cafe but the service was fast.
