5 reviews
The Donner Party was the most famous tragedy in the history of the westward migration. Immerse yourself and relive the ill-faited Donner hardships and the rich historical importance of this area. Re- live the trials and struggles of the early pioneers that paved the way west to California and during the Gold Rush of 1849 and the Silver Comstock Load of 1859. The way West vie the Immigrant Trail, the Transcontinental Railroad and the Lincoln Hwy all of which passed through the Nevada Territory, Reno and the Sierras.

From out of town celebrating a big 🏈 win for Nevada so met up with a group of 10 friends at the Silver Legacy Casino. Could not figure out why all of the bars were half empty but still had huge lines of people waiting to get in??? Turns out, they check IDs (even those of us who were 20 years older than the host,) which is fine, but then take your photo, have all of the guys lift up there shirts and check purses. Mind you, this is inside of a casino where you might have been for hours. Isn’t that kind of like closing the barn door after the horse has escaped?? In fact, I’m pretty sure they could have sold our whole party 2 cocktails in the time it took them to security check us all in!

We have visited Rum Bullikons several times over the years but have never caught it closed after the dinner hour, which was that case twice last week. When opened, it wasn't as full as the old days, but was rockin' on Saturday night. It was nice to have the crazy safari guys back in there.

As a registered participant for Street Vibrations 2018, I and a friend went to the 2 VIP Parties. The same food was served both nights. Variety would have been a good thing. The venue is to small for this type of event, even though the time frame is 1 1/2 hours to 2 hours. The music was horrible.

Uncallfore bull crap we went there to have a good time and was kicked out because my brother. A hippie, was kicked out because he was wearing a bandana after a cheech and chong event I fill we were profiled and this was unjust. There was several other people in there with pants hanging off but because he was wearing hair accessories he was kicked out. We were paying for everything, we weren't fighting. Just dancing.

We enjoyed our Mai Tai and Lapu Lapu cocktails at Rum Bullions. The bar was relatively quiet during the Wednesday evening happy hour. Drinks were tasty. Would be nice to have an appetizer menu as well. Bartender was friendly and helpful. Atmosphere was good. Drinks were better value than the Nugget Happy Hour.
