The ski resort has a wide variety of trails at different levels. They offer beginner classes on the beginner slopes and have intermediate and advanced slopes, as well. There are classes just for kids, too. There are places to get food and the beer at the Timbers Bar was

This resort is the best ski resort that I have ever been to. It has a wide range of runs including easy street for beginners, to the vertical drop runs Chutes. Private lesson was absolutely amazing and helped me have the courage to go down my first Black Diamond. Great prices

Excellent ski area FOR ALL GROUPS, great prices for lift tickets packages. Close to Reno, 20 miles, I did not need chains that were great. Christmas season

Get your food in the Lodgepole Cafe (cafeteria) on the Mt Rose side, put your hats, helmets, goggles, and gloves in the cubbies, then approach the gatekeeper controlling seating. She will direct you to a ”reserved” table. There is no fee. It was so nice to get an appropriately
