Family Day

Fun day for the kids and it seems like I learn something new every time I go also. Can't wait until we get to go to our first event there.

This is a fun place for about an hour. Then my daughter starts to get bored. She likes the climbing structure, and some of the workshops. It would be nice of they had more imagination areas. Like a news studio or a grocery store . They focus very heavily on fish and game. Good for a distraction but now a... More

I visited after seeing the glowing reviews on TripAdvisor. I expected to see something on par with the Phoenix Science Center Arizona which has something fun for the whole family. Nothing could be further from the truth. This place is strictly for 10 years and under. Nothing to stir the imagination of older kids. Many of the exhibits did not... More

My wife and I went to see the Monster Fish exhibit. Absolutely amazing and very interesting. I wish I had know about this place when my kids were young. what a great learning environment for youngsters.

We come to Reno a few times a year to ski nearby Mt.Rose. We discovered this exploration museum on this last trip and the kids (ages 8, 6, and 4) were ecstatic! Beautifully done water play area as well as a fun climbing structure centrally located in the museum. The upper floor has exhibits and hands on creative stations. Bathrooms... More

This is a fun and interesting place for all ages. We actually went on an adult night and the admission included wine and hors d'oeuvres. There are rooms showing different scientific things and hands-on activities. In the middle of the building is a cool spiral rope climbing structure.

This was a fantastic little museum. It reciprocated the membership of ours back home. My toddler (3 YO) was big enough to enjoy everything the museum had to offer. The small children's area was a blast for him as well as the climbing structure in the middle of the museum! It nearly 3 stories tall and quite a maze. I... More

A supreme place to take your out-of-town visitors, especially if they have kids!! The science exhibits are first-rate, but the hands-on experiences for children are exceptional. Plan to arrive early, and stay late. They even have a clean lunchroom, so you can eat there and get back to the fun of the museum. Parking is free all around the museum,... More

You and the minions will have a blast at this place. Lots of hands on activities. All of which will make you think. Great afternoon location for elementary kids up.
