The year long pass is a great deal and this is such a fun way for the kids to spend the day. Totally worth a trip!

It's fancy, it's nice and has a cool cloud-like climbing platform in the middle, but I just wasn't that impressed overall. There seems to be a lot of open space, but not a lot museum stuff. I find that this tends to be the case with a lot of children's museums, so I guess it isn't that surprising. But seeing... More

I'm from the Bay Area, and i must admit that this museum is as good as it gets for kids from what I've seen over the years. We came in at 11am and left at 2pm. Later we returned at 6pm and left at 8pm still wishing we'd spend more time here. My daughter didn't get a change to build... More

Children will love the hands on experience they can spend the whole day there and not get bored. There is a climbing attraction parents will have a hard time getting the children off of.

This museum is a great place for kids and adults. It is themed after the high desert location. I am an adult and found the exhibits very interesting.

I am deferring this review to my 7 year old granddaughter who visited today. She says "If you want to be a doctor, go to the Inside out exhibit. It is very good and you get to learn about your bones. There is a lot of stuff to build. You could build a bridge and build with blocks and wood.In... More

We took my 5 year old grandson to the Discovery Museum one morning prior to our departure to the airport. This was a great experience for him as he was able to interact with numerous exhibits including building a catapult. He enjoys the water so the Monster Fish exhibit and the river exhibits were extra special for him. Lots of... More

This is our favorite place to take the kids while we are in Reno. We have a membership and have always gotten good use out of it. There are things for every age to play with and learn.

This all ages hands on science museum has something for everyone. From the life size replica of Nevada's state fossil, the icthyasaurus, to the 3 story climbing structure and everything in between the discoveries kept on coming.
