I visited the Atlantis last weekend for my husband birthday and we visited the spa and that was great minus all of the amenities being closed with no notice and still having to pay full price for spa treatments.
Also I put my name on the wait list to go to the pool at 12 pm and came back 1.5 hours later and another employee was working and told me my name was no longer on the list because the previous employees shift was over and she didn’t have his papers. I then put my name on the list AGAIN with her and never received a call. I came back 2 hours later and she said it was not time yet, so we continued to wait. Checked back at 4 pm and it was still not our turn. Came back a little while later and ANOTHER girl was working and she said my name was no longer on the list because the girl before her had left, put my name in AGAIN and never received a call, never got to take my grandkids to the pool like we had planned! This is unprofessional. I’ve reached out multiple times to Atlantis and have not received a call back to address this issue.

I called to make an appointment for me and my friends but no one answered! I called twice but no answer! One of my friends told me she just called the salon to book her pedicure so I called and a gentleman named Edwin answered and told me a few things about the salon. I had some spa questions so he transferred me to the spa and again, it kept ringing and ringing. I couldn't even leave a callback number. Super frustrating!

tl;dr The spa is run by clowns. You won't have a relaxing time and likely won't receive the services you paid for.

I'm local and have been to Spa Atlantis probably a dozen times. I WANT to like this spa. Its close to my house and they have a locals discount. However, after many visits and many problems, I'm completely done here. There are so many other great spas to choose from, its just not worth it. Peppermill and GSR are both a little farther for me, but WAAAAY more reliable.

This place is so terribly mismanaged. They get appointment times wrong. They get services wrong. It is just totally disorganized. No one can help you with anything, or answer even basic questions. The employees just seem spacey and out of it. There's a 50/50 chance you won't get the appointment you requested on a given visit.
Most recently, I arrived early for my massage appointment. After waiting for 10 minutes for the attendant to finish on the phones, I'm told that the female provider I requested is not in that day, so I will have a male provider. I told them I wasn't OK with a male provider. They had no other appointments that day, so I requested a refund. I was told NO by the attendant saying refunds are not available within 4 hours of appointment time. My option was take the massage I didn't want, or nothing. Sadly, this kind of thing seems typical at Spa Atlantis.

So the service I paid for is not available, and I can't get a refund. I asked to speak to the manager. I was told that all managers are busy in a meeting and I could have a seat and wait for them to be done. Their meeting would be over at 11:00 (it was 9:00AM)... They expected me to wait for 2 hours to speak to the manager, and continued to refuse a refund.

I called my credit card company and disputed the charge, so I know I'll get my money back. After more than a dozen visits, I've just had it. Too many better options to choose from, and they treat customers well.

I was looking forward to booking a spa day here at the Atlantis. I came in to make my appointment because I've been hearing about how beautiful this place is. I walked in and was greeted by a young lady named Andrea. She seemed nice at first but she seemed bothersome once I started asking questions. I've never been to a spa before so I was coming in blind. She sounded like she had somewhere else to be but there was no one else around! She rushed through my questions and was not helpful at all. I was disappointed because I've heard so many good things about the massages here but maybe the I have to talk to a masseuse to get good customer service?? If everyone acts like that I don't if I'll be back.

Beautiful spa with super nice lounge areas. They have a waterfall pool that’s inside and another regular pool outside. The pools were kid/family friendly but the rest of the spa was adults only, which was really nice. The staff were all very friendly. Seems like everything is opened back up from COVID. Locker rooms with snacks and drinks, showers with shampoos, razors, and all the other free goodies. Overall a great place to relax and unwind for a little bit.

I has my first ever Swedish massage and can't put into words how awesome it was. Paula explained everything and made me feel very comfortable. The hour flies by!

The amenities are very clean. Paula was extremely professional. You can't help but walk away relaxed. It was a great experience. I can't wait to get back to Reno and do this again!

Kevin Williams and the Spa Atlantis are top notch. Kevin's massages are what I look forward to on a bi-weekly basis. He is a complete professional. I have referred friends to him as well looking for the best masseuse in the Reno, Nevada area. Look no further, Kevin is truly the best.

The best massage I ever had was at the Spa Atlantis! My massage therapist was named, Kevin Williams, and he is simply the BEST! I left feeling refreshed and ready to face the world again. The facilities were nice and the spa attendant was super nice. I was greeted with friendly staff at the registration desk. I liked the snack and drink amenities too. A definite must-visit when in Reno!

It was amazing! I booked myself a 90 minute massage around noon a few days before I flew into Reno. The customer service is spectacular and they are so kind and helpful and very flexible for what service you want on the day and time. The anemities are so fantastic! From whenever you schedule your service to closing you have full acess to the spa which includes the hot tubs, experimental shower, cold plunge pool, swimming pool, all the saunas, a fitness center, dry sauna and herbal steam room (which are both included in the locker rooms). The showers had about 6 shower heads (two overhead and 2 each on the sides) they had a tea room right before the locker rooms, which had healthy snacks, fruit, tea, water and coffee, you also wait here before your appointment. My massage was amazing, completely quiet, serene and relaxing. The massage therapists definitely do not try to force conversation and respect that. I felt completely rejuvinated after this day, I definitely am coming here everytime I fly into Reno from now on. On top of that the prices weren't too bad either, especially with all the anemities included.

Staying in Lake Tahoe for a week, we decided to spend a day/night in Reno. We decided on Atlantis due the the very 'Vegasy' type resort. When my wife expressed her desire to participate in a spa activity, I naturally kinda rolled my eyes. I'll tell you what...after our couples massage, risul treatment and hours upon hours of moving from room to room, thunder shower, tropical shower, steam room, salt room, I didnt care about the 18 holes of golf I had planned for later. I wanted to STAY ALL DAY LONG at Spa Atlantis! Next time we are in the area, we are in SPA ATLANTIS!
