I am so grateful for Hikari. She is amazing without a doubt. I had a cervical injury where I was in pain everyday. I started seeing Hikari once a week for a 90 minute session and every minute was amazing and worth it. She knows your trigger points and helps you relieve those pressure that may be causing your pain. I have slept better, moved better, and I have some what gone back to normal. My injury is severed because it consist of a herniated disc in the cervical area which affects my arms and shoulders. I am 29 and never thought I would be in so much pain at my age, but Hikari has truly changed the way i live in pain. I would highly recommend her. She is extremely accommodating in terms of her scheduling. She is compassionate, highly skilled and patient. She goes the extra mile to help you feel better. Today I can say i have made a lot of progress and it has been due to her gifted hands that can work miracles. I am very thankful to her everyday and that I have support here that can help me recover while I go to school.

While visiting Reno, I made an appointment with Akimi for a one-hour therapeutic massage. Even though I had been seeing a chiropractor, I was still suffering from severe migraines due to knotted muscles between my shoulders and other various pains. Akimi gave a wonderful massage, applying pressure to the areas needing attention, which was a bit painful but very effective. I felt a sense of relief after the massage but decided I should book another appointment before my trip back home to Arizona. My next massage the following week was two hours so that I could have the therapeutic portion the first hour and a relaxation massage the second portion, along with 15 minutes of Reiki. I was so relaxed that I fell deeply asleep and was a bit disappointed when the massage was over. I highly recommend Hikari massage and Akimi, and I wish I lived closer so that I could see her on a regular basis!

It was my first experience of Reiki with Akimi. The room was nicely decorated and the atmosphere was pure, calm, and welcoming. Once I went into the room, I started tearing up. I felt warm and safe to express my feelings with her in there. Akimi told me to leave all of my stress there and to relax. Her gentle voice and Reiki treatment were wonderful. She gave me a message and a little advice about my life in the end, which I really appreciated. My body and mind were completely relaxed after receiving Reiki. Thank you, Akimi! I will totally go back to her for another session in the future.

After a emotional rollercoaster of a year I had Reiki performed on me to get all that energy settled, and the experience was simply amazing! I credit that to Akimi’s expertise and her ability to me feel at ease and very safe throughout the session.
I have recommended her massage and reiki services to my friends and family as well.

I was on vacation and decided to get a massage. Little did I know what a massage it would be.
Akimi, the massage therapist and owner, was very gifted, caring and sensitive to my needs. She was extraordinary.
The room was peaceful and serene.
I'm from the East Coast (Brooklyn, NY) and never expected to have such a great experience.
I wish I could have taken Aklimi home with me!
When I come back again to Reno, I will definitely visit Akimi.

I was visiting Reno recently and booked a 60 minute massage with Hikari. Price was very reasonable.
The downtown location is easy to get to and near a coffee shop that sits next to the Truckee River.
The massage room is a very calm environment, and Akimi, the massage therapist, had a calm and inviting demeanor. She’s asked thoughtful questions about my condition and made sure she used the correct pressure.
I plan on booking with Hikari next time I’m in Reno. When you find a good massage therapist, he/she becomes like family.
